Alix sighed, looking at the twin 12-year-old boys laughing and playfighting in the corner. They used to be his friend and his friend's dad, but now they acted like twin brothers and treated him like their dad. He still didn’t understand why Andrew had come to him of all people when he realized he couldn’t look after Eric, his now twin brother, due to his deteriorating mental state.
Sighing again, Alix shouted at the boys, "BOYS! This is not a place to playfight! This is a goddamn hospital. Now sit down and wait patiently." The boys, realizing they were disturbing other people, started to settle down. Of course, one of them whined, "Oh, but Dad, we’re bored! There’s nothing to do here. The internet is crap so we can’t use our phones. Do we really need to go to this stupid check-up?" The other one nodded in agreement.
Alix replied, "First of all, language. We’re in a public place and I know you know better than to swear. Second, yes, I know you’re both bored, but this is your final check-up until you both become my problem for life!" The boys just smiled. Alix hated when they did that. He found it really hard to tell who was who, though he was getting better at distinguishing them by their facial expressions and personalities. But with them both smiling like they were now, he couldn’t tell them apart. To make it more confusing, they insisted on wearing the exact same clothes every day.
Now they were both in front of him, and then they both jumped on him. Alix guessed it was Andrew who said, "But you love us, really, Dad. You let us live with you and do all this stuff for me and my bro. We’re grateful, so we’ll sit here like you said." Both of them tried to fit on Alix’s lap, and he smiled.
He thought at least he was doing something right, seeing how loving they were towards him and each other. He wished he could give them more, but they had to share a bed in his small apartment. At only 23 years old, working two low-paying jobs, he hadn’t expected to feel so right about this decision. Seeing the boys happy with the little he could afford made him content. Wrapping his arms around his sons, he felt grateful they had come to him and no one else.
(i just wanted to make a happy ending for this, of cores it can be carried on and anyone can if they want, so yer there is no kinky stuff here just fluff)
