Chloe whimpered in her kennel as she heard the voices of the dogs in the other room. She wanted nothing more than to play with them, but the metal bars surrounding her prevented her from doing so. Her pouting became more and more irritating until she finally caught her master's attention.
Rebecca eventually returned to the kitchen, tired of her human's constant whining. “Alright Chloe I hear you! Are you ready to be a good girl now?”
But that was wishful thinking. As the towering boxer stood over the kennel, Chloe panted heavily as she rapidly wiggled her butt. Reluctantly, Rebecca unlocked the cage door and out bolted Chloe. The naked human sprinted on all fours to the other room, where Rebecca’s sister and brother-in-law were. The two boxers were sitting on the couch when Chloe ran in.
“Hi Chloe! Aw you’ve gotten so big!” Rebecca’s sister, Daphne, cooed as she started petting Chloe. She rubbed her paw through her long blonde hair, occasionally scratching her head as Chloe enjoyed the attention and the soothing feeling of being pet. Eventually, Chloe turned her focus to Daphne’s husband, Robert.
“Hi there Chloe. Aw, you’re a good girl.” Robert uttered as he started petting Chloe. The young human continued to relish in the attention until something else caught her focus. She started sniffing the air, sensing something peculiar that drew her nose to Robert’s jeans. She knew that scent. It was the scent of another human. She continued sniffing, trying to gather as much information as her nose would let her.
“Chloe, you better be behaving.” Rebecca said as she reentered the room, finally spotting her pet drawn to her brother-in-law's legs.
“I think she smells Jack.” Daphne chuckled.
“You should have brought him over.” Rebecca bantered.
“No, I think Jack’s a bit too big for her.” Robert quipped as he rubbed Chloe’s bare back while she sniffed him.
“Plus we still have to get him fixed.” Daphne added.
“I know. I’ve been meaning to get Chloe fixed too, but I always keep forgetting.” Rebecca said.
“Ha, last thing you probably need is a bunch of kiddies running around here.” Daphne joked. “Though maybe…” she nudged her husband.
“No!” Robert shot down her idea.
“Aw, come on. Imagine having cute little kiddies around.” Daphne suggested as all three dogs looked at Chloe, who was living in the moment, completely oblivious that she was now the subject of conversation about possibly being bred.
