Turns out when all your stall needs is just you, and maybe some sorta front for people to see your not some random person sitting on a stool on the side of the road it wasn't that hard to start something up. The permit was cheap at a few bronze pieces, getting a [carpenter] to make something quick took a gold but it wasn't hard or took longer than an hour, but the "cash register" of sorts was a little more complicated... or it should've been. For most people they'd need to have something to hold the cash they took in, and a ledger to make sure everything was taxed or accounted for properly. Turns out Rina being a high level adventurer was loaded in her own right and having her sponsor Rick at the merchant's guild gave him some perks, and Rina's "payment" for his healing services so far was... Significant. 10 thousand gold pieces... Unless there had been significant inflation in this world he imagined that was quite a pretty penny. Just asking made him realize that most people maybe made a few thousand in their entire life. In theory he didn't have to work very hard if he ever wanted to, or would have ease applying for citizenship in a large city with several amenities. Assuming he wouldn't get lynched for being a [priest]... Either way about 1k of that got him 2 very important things. A standard mid grade bag of holding that would effectively store most all mundane non-magic items, and maybe a few low grade magic items. The second thing was a "Merchant's bag of holding" the first only cost 100 gold, but the second cost 900 gold and once a year he'd need to pay 100 gold for "upkeep". What the bag did was it would take JUST bronze, silver, and gold items and teleport them to the closest merchant's guild where they'd be automatically filed under his account. For merchants who made SIGNIFICANT amounts of money being able to say all the money they had on them was "pocket change" was worth a lot... and Rina had suggested that he'd want it. Still now here he was setup, and on an edge of the blast zone he wondered if he'd get lynched or what. There was a sort of poetry to this general location. A god had sent a messenger of destruction, and caused it... Then the people had joined together and made more destruction. Now here he was a messenger of a different god on the edge of the destruction offering healing. He had money, but what he'd really need for now was good will.
Thus "Eroia's First Temple" was set-up with a sign "Grand Opening, Free Healing (while supplies last)" said supplies mostly just being Rick's whatever he used when using his blessings. There were a few takers from people who had gotten some bad bruises, several cuts or burns... A small crowd had gathered watching him work, scrutinizing if it were some spell, some slight of hand with some healing potion,or whatever... but when a man with half his left arm missing came up and asked whether or not that would work... Rick thought for a second and remembered Rina's missing bits getting healed back up and decided to give it a try. Rick wasn't at 100%, and thus it was a small miracle that Rick managed to regrow even a quarter of the arm that was lost.
Rick felt empty and said "...I'm out... sorry I couldn't do more, but if you come back I'll try to do more..." he tried to put some empathy or something into the words but they felt hollow. Something done more out of conditioning than anything. The man was staring at the extra bit of an arm stub he was given with wide eyes and the crowd were staring as well. The crowd started asking a lot of questions and all Rick could bother himself to eek out was "Eroia's my goddess, She found me when I was alone and going to die and let me live... I do not think she is a goddess of wrath, but one of love, mending..." There was something about spreading the word of Eroia and the way the crowd hung on his words that spoke to Rick "...and I suppose a little something else for those inclined for... Certain activities" a bit of a mischievous smile crept on his face that he imagined looked sort of like one of Eroia's. "...I need to go on a walk or something though... I'm a bit mentally weary right now." The crowd wanted healing or stories or more information about the new goddess. Some were outraged at setting up a "temple" right on the side of the crater caused by another god, but no one even tried tearing it down. There were just too many people who wanted such a thing to stay. Good will however was gained that afternoon as Rick heard the system in his ears.
Level up [Priest of Lust]: level 15
...He supposed that was just from [priestly] things instead of [lusty]... He guessed if he wanted to level up like crazy he'd need to do more debauchery
