“What do we do?” Asked Amber to her fellow mermaids nos surrounding the cruiser.
“WHAT DO WE DO?!” Screamed John from inside the cruiser at the same time.
“We’ll have to open the doors. They won’t be able to swim to the surface, we’re way too deep, unless these cops are Olympic swimmers or something.” Said Melina.
“Are you sure they’re even changing?” Susan asked.
“Yeah, the girl in the back definitely has that look, so does the officer in the passenger seat.” Amber confirmed.
“But they could just drown faster… when do we start breathing water anyway?” Questioned Akiko.
Meanwhile, inside the car, Mark looked to John and grabbed him by the wrist. “John, man, keep it together. Wait till’ the car’s mostly full, then open the door, and swim up.”
“But, but we’re not gonna make it! We’re already fucked man!” John stammered, his hands shaking on the edge of a panic attack.

“Wait Mark… did you see that? There’s a woman out there, like three of ‘em!” John pointed out into the water.
“Yeah, you’re right. Looks like the mermaid quacks were on to something all along eh?” Mark said, nonchalant in his tone and behavior.
“Dude, why aren’t you taking this more seriously?!” Shouted John, baffled as Mark undid his tie fully and was now unbuttoning his shirt.
Outside the car, Melina shook her head. “They won’t last any longer stuck in there than if they get out into the water. We can’t just leave them there to rot!”
“Alright, I guess. Better than passing out I guess. Amber, Akiko, take the back doors, we’ll get the front.” Susan called out.
The four mermaids each took their place at the car doors and made ready to tug in unison. The woman in the back seat saw Akiko swim up to her, she gasped in amazement blew her a kiss. “Ooh… she’s hot…” the woman cooed, ogling her bare chest.
“Alright girls, on three.” Melina directed. “One! Two! Three!”
The four mermaids pulled at once, the four doors burst open, water filled the cabin, and…
