I have hope. I wait in the queue for my appointment.
"203"
A woman shouts my number...is this the start of my salvation...
"My my you look in a sorry state sir" she says pitifully. "Please do come in"
I enter for what feels like my judgement... Tense almost...I don't want to screw this up
"Tell me sir, why are you here"
I stutter on my words, choking on the air of my past.
"I've seen people like you, you really are struggling,
I nod, gently
"We can help, just a few questions..." She proceeds
"Age, sexuality, any medical conditions?"
"No medical conditions, 18, severely homosexual" I respond
She giggles at my last remark..."It seems like we have many free slot in the homosexual category. We will accept you."
I almost jump out of my seat hearing this. Yet I feel a chill down my spine. Why did she need to know my sexuality and maybe not my name....
"Thank you" I mutter
"There is no need" she says calmly, "we simply desire to help those I need feel happy and excited again"
She than presses a green button on the wall. The door behind her rapidly opens and a squad of men rapidly surround me and force a mask around my jaw. Everything is fading... Blurring... Leaving... Escaping... Darkness, once again
