Leaping out of bed, Hannah's confusion only magnified. Dressed in a oversized shirt with her college on it and a pair of athletic shorts, she paused. This was her go to outfit when she was in college, 20 plus years ago.
"Hannah?"
Hannah turned, gazing at Claire, the blonde sporting an equally confused look as she studied her own attire, which mirrored Hannah's. "Where are we," Leslie exclaimed. "And why are we dressed like this?" Hannah had no answer, utterly confused by her surroundings. The room looked like a suite. More specifically, like the suite the pair shares when they were in college. "It..it looks like our old college dorm!"
Claire and Hannah paused, as illogical as it seemed thus was their dorm room. The decorations, the setup, even the closets and dressers. All of it mirrored their dorm from over 20 years ago. Yes, the fashions and technology, such as cellphones and laptops were modern, but the room itself was the exact setup the two had when they roomed together. "What the hell," Claire whispered. "Hannah, did...did we time travel?" Hannah grabbed her cell, quickly checking the date. "No," she replied, still confused. "Definitely not time travel. It's still the same year." As they curiously now looked at their cellphones, they realized one of them wasn't present. "Where's Leslie?!"
Quickly heading towards an adjoining room, the pair of coeds threw it open, startling a befuddled Leslie. "Where are we," Leslie asked. "And what are we doing here? Also, who dressed us? I wasn't wearing this last night." Claire and Hannah gazed at Leslie, noting the teenage redhead dressed in a sleeveless t-shirt and sleep pants. "We're trying to figure that out," Hannah stated. "It looks like our old college dorm." Leslie balked, college dorm? What were they doing in a college dorm. Slowly, a feeling of dread washes over her as she stared at Hannah and Claire. "Quick check your purses for ID."
"Why,," Hannah asked. "Just do it," Leslie exclaimed. "I just got a bad feeling okay!" Hannah and Claire shrugged, quickly finding their purses and fishing out their IDs. As they now gazed at them, their eyes grew wide. "No way," Claire whispered. "It can't be!"
Hannah wanted to say no, but the evidence was staring back at them. According to their licenses, Hannah and Claire were 22 and 21 respectfully, complete with new birthdays to show that. Digging through their purses only intensified their dread as they pair found student ID with their pictures. "Guys," Leslie stammered, holding up her own ID. "This says I'm a Freshman here and that I'm under 21 for the next three years!"
"Yeah," Hannah replied nervously. "Same here. I don't know how but....we're all back in college." The three young women now stared at eachother in stunned silence. Somehow, the watch had put them back in school.
