Looking at the option, he sees one on the wall for an entirely androgynous body. Not just a body that looks androgynous, but one with no features of either sex. There was something alluring about it, freeing of any gendered expectations of rolls. He wouldn't just be free of masculinity but of anything gendered. It was actually what was recommended for newcomers because you could entirely play around with your gender expression without having anything physical determining it. Mabye once he can get a gender change agin he'll be able to choose something more concrete.
Looking at the body that was offered, it was slender without curves or broad shoulders, had an androgynous face, somewhere between a masculine woman and feminine man, it lacked breasts or male body hair, and seemed to not have much in the way of genitals, at the very least it didn't have anything that could be described as a penis or vagina. To most people it would be kind of scary, but there was something exciting about seeing the world without all those things.
