Mikhail wasn't a strategic genius like Nightingale, but he knew a trick when he saw one. Before the Horse Witch could do anything, Mikhail jumped at him, tackling him to the ground.
"You saw right through me, eh?" the Horse Witch laughed. Mikhail could sense the Horse Witch summoning magic to cast a spell. A quick, fierce punch to the face stopped the Horse Witch, knocking him out cold. Mikhail looked over at Iris, panting.
"Iris, are you all right?" he asked. Iris smiled broadly. The hazy look in her eyes was gone.
"Yes, my love," she cooed. "I cannot wait to hear five children for you. I know you will love them all, regardless of their parentage." Mikhail looked at Olga for help. Olga walked over to him and whispered in his ear.
"You dominated Ely, overriding his domination on Iris."
"I see." It made sense that the Horse Witch had lied about how Iris would respond to a fight between them.
"Unfortunately, it also strengthened your domination over Lady Iris," Olga continued.
"What effects will that have on her?" Mikhail asked. Olga sighed.
"To be frank, I do not know what a normal domination would do to a human. But an enhanced one? That is even more uncertain."
"Do you have any suggestions about what to do for her?" Mikhail asked. Iris was meant to be King! She couldn't be dedicated to him like a mare to a stallion!
"First, let us deal with Ely. While we do so, I can think."
Dealing with Ely meant adding him to the breeding operation as a small, gray mare. Olga insisted that Mikhail breed and dominate Ely, now named Misty. That was the only way to keep the Horse Witch in line.
Once Misty, happily pregnant with twin fillies, was led away, Olga approached Mikhail. She had come up with a plan to treat Iris's enhanced domination.
