Pablo had heard rumors about the mythical Ursa Beer in dark internet forums and clandestine bars where people spoke of it with an air of mystery and reverence. It was said that it wasn’t just any beer, but one that could transform any man into bear: robust, fat and hairy.
Pablo, 25, had always secretly felt attracted to this type of man but kept it to himself, afraid of what Juan, his 30-year-old boyfriend, might think. Juan was slender, clean-shaven, and youthful-looking, very different from the bears Pablo idiolize, but he still was attracted to his boyfriend and loved him.
One day, after much hesitation, Pablo decided to seek out the Ursa Beer. He found it in a hidden bar down a city alleyway. The bartender, a burly, bearded man, handed him a single bottle, the only one they had, warning him to be careful. "This isn’t something to be taken lightly," he said with a creppy smile.
Pablo arrived home with the bottle in his backpack, his heart racing with anticipation and fear. He didn’t want to tell Juan; he thought he would just take a few small sips, to see if it worked and if he really liked it.
