As Juan keep feeling more comfortable in his fat body, he started to notice changes in his perception of others as well. Before, he had never really paid attention to bigger men—bears—as Pablo called them. But now, he found his eyes lingering on them. At the gym, in the park, even on the street, he noticed men who were like him—large, hairy, and confident.
It surprised him, the way he suddenly found them attractive, something he had never considered before. It was as if a new part of his mind had been unlocked, allowing him to see beauty where he hadn’t before. He was drawn to their size, the way they seemed so comfortable in their own skin, unbothered by the judgments of others. He saw in them what Pablo had been trying to show him all along—strength, confidence, and a quiet kind of power.
When a bear pass by, he kept looking at his round bellies, imaging himself rubbing them. He wonders if they were full of if they were hungry. After that he usually padded his big and round gut and felt pride. Sometimes, when looking to other bears he even felt envy, envy of their huge bodies, a thought started to come to his head in a lot of those occasions “I wish I was as big as them”. He began to suspect that something more profound was happening to him, something beyond just a physical transformation.
Meanwhile Pablo had been so supportive, so encouraging, that Juan started to wonder if this was all part of a plan. The thought both scared and excited him. Could Pablo have known what would happen? Could he have wanted this?
One evening, after dinner, Juan finally brought it up. “Pablo,” he began, his voice hesitant. “Do you think… do you think this was meant to happen? That maybe I’m supposed to be like this?”
Pablo looked at him, his eyes soft with understanding. “I don’t know, Juan. But what I do know is that I love you, no matter what. And I think… I think you’re discovering something new about yourself, something that’s been there all along, waiting to come out.”
Juan nodded slowly, feeling a sense of clarity. He was changing, not just in body, but in mind, and for the first time, he didn’t want to fight it. He wanted to see where this path would lead. The discomfort, the doubts, the fear—they were still there, but so was a growing acceptance, a desire to embrace his new life as a fat and hairy man.
As Pablo pulled him close, his hand resting on Juan’s belly once more, Juan allowed himself to relax completely, letting go of the last remnants of resistance. He felt his body softening into the embrace, the arms of Pablo grabbing his round body and pressing the fat of his now huge belly. He was no longer the man he once was, but that was okay. He was becoming something new, something more—something he was starting to love.
