Vandal shook his spray can, the rattle unnervingly loud. He aimed it at the wall, adding cat ears to Jeff’s painted form. The spray instantly transformed into reality as he pulled Jeff’s head out again, this time adorned with real, twitching cat ears.
"See? I've got all the tools I need," Vandal said with a sinister grin. Jeff’s newfound feline ears flattened against his head in fear.
Jeff's voice quivered, "Please, you don't have to do this! Let me go!"
Vandal merely chuckled darkly. "That's a cute request, kitty. But no can do. You're my new canvas."
"What?" Jeff said.
"Kind of dense, aren't you? I'm an artist...and everything I touch becomes art...You may have been boring and uninteresting before...but once you are a Vandal masterpiece..." He shoved Jeff back into the wall and used the spray can to spray on a set of whiskers and a flat pinkish cat nose, then pulled him out again.
"What are you doing to me?" Jeff said.
"From what I can see, all of this world looks the same. I'm going to make it truly art...Earth...designed by Vandal. Not sure where I'll put the signature. But to start..."
He shoved Jeff back into the wall and started drawing a new much smaller cat body, with purple fur and tail and finally a collar with a tag that said Jeff on it. Pulling Jeff out of the wall entirely, he set him down on the floor.
Jeff looked up at the suddenly gigantic Vandal...well, by comparison to him now. "I don't want to be a cat," he hissed.
"Purrfect," Vandal laughed. "Now, let's see how else we can spruce up this house to start."
