You Speak things True!

added by s-ox 2 days ago A Bovine

"Pam wait! Right before all this happened you said- and I quote- "How could I love a cow like you"" Drew pointed out to his now bovine horrifically pregnant girlfriend on the floor.
She sniffed.
"So..?" it was as if something was preventing her from connecting the dots.
Drew wasn't sure if she was dumb or not but in the moment he felt like a problem solver.
"So! Somehow! You're speaking things into existence! Try something else. Say umm, say our couch is red!"

Pam had trouble concentrating as her udder was still growing, but the changes did seem a little slower.
"Our couch is red?" she spoke. Despite the question mark of uncertainty on the end, the blue on the couch shifted to a lilac then a burgundy and then a bright scarlet.
Pam was speechless. She didn't understand how she was doing it but she was doing it.
"I'm not transforming!" she shouted immediately trying to fix her problem. The itching of fur creeping up her body immediately stopped.
She was still a cow creature crying on the floor but it stopped! She was beyond excited.
"My nipples don't hurt!" she shouted excitedly, and they stopped. Though they were still a bit sensitive. Nipples were supposed to be.

"Ok ok slow down!" Drew started "I don't know how you're doing this but you have to be careful"

But Pam's mind was filling with ideas. She looked at the live news broadcast.
Drew swooped in covering her mouth.
"Babe, don't do anything to someone else! Besides, people will freak out if... what were you going to do."

Pam glanced at the news report "I was just saying. The news reporter's dress is pink." she blinked as the dress turned from conservative black to bubblegum pink. The newscaster looked down confused. Pam had to hurriedly add "Oh but... no one notices?"

She went back to news reporting. Drew blinked.
"Wait it didn't work that time"
"Huh I guess it doesn't work like that...?" Pam turned her head confused. Then huffed "Ok, time to fix this. I'm regular and normal."

She closed her eyes tensing her body. Then looked down. Nothing had changed.
Oh god.
"Drew!" she hastily tried to stand up, Drew helping her hooves balance on their floor, scooting her to the rug seemed easier "Does this look normal to you!"

Drew blinked.
"Yeah of course."

Her stomach dropped.
She had made herself normal. Normal to him. But she still remembered the lie. How did that work?
She guessed if everyone else believed her then... ugh her head hurt thinking about this.
"Come on Drew! Look at me. I've always been a cow girl? Seriously?"

It was almost like she felt the shift that time. Like she could feel a shimmering ripple pass through her photos.
"Oooh no..." she whispered seeing the photo of them at her cousin's wedding. She hadn't been pregnant then, but she could see black and white cow ears appear on her photo, though strangely no one else in her family seemed affected.
Panicking she scrambled for a photo album she stuffed between the couch and the side table. She'd inherited it from her grandmother's estate 4 years ago. It had baby pictures. Baby pictures and childhood pictures she was now flipping through.
Cow Pam.
Toddler cow Pam. Toddler cow Pam dressed as a country cowgirl at Halloween. Child cowgirl Pam in Kindergarten trying and failing to make a hand-Turkey craft with her hooves. Child cow Pam crying because her mom had taped a pencil to her hoof so she could learn to hold it better as if she had some sort of developmental problem.

"No no no..." she flipped past extended relatives searching desperately for more pictures of herself. AH!
Grandma's photos had skipped from elementary to a much later picture of her at prom. She could see something of a bulge in her previously form fitting dress as if she was holding her post pubescent udder down. Not like it would have been full as cows only got milk after-
She was getting distracted.
"See you've always been a cowgirl. I always thought it was super neat." Drew pointed out a behind the scenes prom picture.
One Pam remembered as her mom zipping up her dress, was now her making sure her tail fit through it.

"No Drew! You don't understand! I remember being human!" Two statements now cementing Drew's lack of understanding and Pam's awareness of the situation. "Did I ever explain to you how I was the only cow person on the planet?"

Drew looked nonplussed.
"I always thought it was rude to ask. You sound crazy. You've always been a cowgirl Pam. Did the pregnancy mess up your brain or something? Did you have another human dream?"

Pam was aghast. Holding her head. Ok so she remembered being human... she could speak things into existence.
So she just needed to say she was human.
