You stood examining the rather extensive map of the Zoo for a good few minutes, as you struggled to get your bearings. This place was enormous; far bigger than what you had expected.
After determining your current location, you looked down at your phone, in order to check a text that you had received from your girlfriend, Jessica, some 30 minutes ago. Since you had been delayed by about an hour due to heavy traffic, Jessica had instructed you to meet her at the Farm Living Exhibit.
Reading this made you smile. Jessica simply adored any and all farm animals, which was to be expected from a farmers’ daughter. You too were fond of animals, which was one of the many things that attracted you to each other.
Once you had found the Farm Living Exhibit on the map, you set-off along one of the many crowded footpaths that zig-zagged the Zoo complex. You tried to hurry, given that you were already running late, and yet you did occasionally stop to marvel at some of the incredible animals on display.
Eventually though, after a 15-minute walk, you finally made your way into the Farm Living Exhibit itself. The exhibit was quite extensive, consisting of a number of barns surrounded by various smaller pens and large open fields.
As you approached, you spotted various different animals milling around and entertaining the guests. In one pen, some tiny lambs were being fed by some young kids, while next-door, some rather large pigs were busy either wallowing in their sty or greedily scoffing-down their breakfast. Beyond them, you spotted numerous cows, sheep and goats happily grazing out in their respective enclosures.
You continued scanning for Jessica as you entered the Farm Living Exhibit entrance hall. This building looked similar to the other barns that dotted the area, though there were no animals in here. Instead, there was a reception, a small cafe and some other basic amenities. You then spotted a noticeboard that was promoting various activities for guests to join-in with, such as milking the cows or petting the donkeys.
