Rasputin had sent a message to the Czar begging him not to go to war with Germany and Austria, but the stabbing had made him to ill to send his message in time. The prophecy he held to be true. She moved to Britain and married an Englishman but she died not long afterwards. The Officer she left widowed and remarried and her items, including her ring, were lost to time. That ring eventually ended up in a pawn shop in America, waiting to release its Holy Power.
