Jake stared at the reflection taking in who he now was. His features were his own, but his colouring was different. He still had the same short haircut but he was now Alice's natural ginger. His eyes were bright blue, not the brown he was used to seeing and he now had Alice's pale skin. "How did I get your colouring?"
"I'm guessing all your cells must now contain my DNA" replied Alice. "The transform-O-matic remade your upper body but using my cells. The code for the DNA must have been in some of the first lines that I copied into your re-transformation log. I'll bet that all your cells now have two X chromosomes"
"But how come I still have my own voice? And my features are all my own"
"The machine rebuilt your upper body according to the codes left in the retransformation log. It just used my cells to build it from"
Jake was still a little confused. He knew about computers but not so much about biology. It didn't really matter if his body was made of Alice's cells or his own. It was only a temporary body that he intended to have fun with. He looked back at his reflection and took in the whole of the body he now possessed.
