Mitch was a loss. What should he do? Follow Mitch, who was now changed incredibly? Run? Flee? Admit that his friend was too far gone to help him and try to save him? What could he do? Those "daddies" seemed to perform magic and that made him unbelievably vulnerable. Mitch really believed he was an eight-year-old kid now going by the name of Mitsuhiko. He had even regressed more to being a kid of barely six or seven! David saw himself as lucky to find himself as a young teen of twelve at best still. And that large man Fatsumoto had done that to him! What could he do to David? That simple thought terrified him! And Mitch, in his awfully blissful ignorance was inviting him over? That poor hapless Mitch did not even realize what could happen to him! He saw the man that had altered him completely as his great father worthy of all his love! What would Mitch, kind Mitch, think if he could see his own self now? He had tried to seek help and that awful fat man had just made him into his own plaything! Angered beyond belief, David yelled at Fatsumoto, demanding he change his friend back, showering with all the insults he could think of, and calling all sorts of mean things reserved for fat people. But the Japanese man remained stoic, while Mitch hid and clung to Fatsumoto's yukata, too far gone to realize what was occurring, and seeking his daddy's protection and reassurance as sheer instinct. But then David was raised into the air, but another heavy and large man.
"Mr Fatsumoto, is this child bothering you?"
"Indeed, just when I had adopted by own little treasured one," calmly said Fatsumoto, pulling his new son closer to him in a gesture of protection.
A gesture that annoyed David to no end, as it was futile to the extreme. As if HE was the threat! It was solely made to comfort Mitch and force him more into this life he'd never asked for!
"Congratulations," said the man delightedly. "And it seems it is my lucky adoption day for me too."
Uh-oh... His tone was very gleeful. Too gleeful and David turned to see more distinctly more had him.
