David was powerless as he looked, quite appalled, at the little Japanese kid that had formerly been his pal. Mitch had not only regressed more, he now spoke fluent Japanese and was convinced the man that reduced into such a sappy state was his father. A beloved father, moreover! David felt absolutely helpless. What could he do to save his friend, even in spite of himself? Because he knew Mitch enough to know that even if the guy was a softie, he certainly would not appreciate having his life stolen and being reduced to the state of a sort of surrogate pet and son to a fat slob that had taken advantage of his simple and kind asking for help!
"Come on, Mitch, we'll get through the elevator again and get back to our normal state," he said firmly, grabbnmg his friend's hand and pulling him away from Fatsumoto.
Alas, Mitch's eyes bulged out in terror and he started wailing, clutching at his father's clothes.
"Otou-san! No! I am Mitsuhiko, not Mitch! Otou-san!"
"Mitsuhiko, whatever. Just come with me!" insisted David.
David fumed. Why did Mitch have to make things so difficult? He was trying to help for crying out loud!
"Stop this this instant," growled Fatsumoto, seizing Mitch and clutching him to his chest.
The former Mitch sniffled, wept and snuggled against his new daddy, seeking instinctively the purest comfort he could.
"You are scaring my son!" reprimanded Fatsumoto.
"He's not your son and you know it very well! Change him back and let us go!" yelled David, attempting to hide how defenseless he felt in front of this man much taller and incredibly bigger than himself.
Fatsumoto frowned down at the impetuous boy. Certainly he was annoying, yet... Yet he had a temper and a bite that could be interesting to have around. Furthermore, he could also reduced him to an obedient little son and be greatly entertained at the change. Or alternatively, change him into a younger and different child and pass him on to a friend, or sell him. Gods knew there were plenty of daddies that wished for many little sons to adopt, let alone just one.
