Steve had just gotten to the surface of the pool, when he started screaming out loud.
“Peter! Just wait till I get out of the pool! I’m gonna turn you into a fresh serving of pork chops!” he hollered as he started to swim towards the edge of the pool, where the aluminum ladder was hanging from the side wall.
“Uh oh…. I’m REALLY gonna get it now!” Peter sighed to himself.
Allen, of course, had the power to hear all of Peter’s thoughts.
“Don’t worry, dude… I gotcha covered!” Allen’s voice rang from within Peter’s head. “I’ll make sure that the coach won’t even SEE you, by the time he climbs out of the pool!”
“What…? What are you doing?”
Suddenly, Peter felt Allen’s power flowing through his body. It traveled up his legs into his giant pecs. Then, his pecs rapidly began to shrink back to normal, like giant balloons which just had all the air let out of them as they deflated.
Allen had the power to change peter’s body anywhere in the world, and Allen could communicate with him at any time and from any place.
“Oooh… I’m normal again!” Peter grinned, when he looked down and saw that his pecs were back to normal.
Steve just began to climb up the ladder.
“I’m gonna roast that kid on my BBQ grill….” He sneered, as he made his way out of the pool, with his clothes dripping wet and sticking to his skin.
“Oh no….” Peter whispered to himself. He KNEW that he was in BIG trouble.
Suddenly, the tingling feeling intensified, as it spread throughout his entire body. He gasped when he looked up and realized, that everything around him started to grow bigger and BIGGER!
“Hey! What… What are you doing to me????” Peter exclaimed.
“Time to shrink away….” Allen chuckled.
Peter started to dwindle down, from the height of 6’3”ft tall.
He was now 6ft… 5ft… 4ft…
“Wha….? Oh no…. OH NO! Allen!” Peter shouted. “Aaaaaaalllleeeeeeennnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!”
His voice slowly faded away as he rapidly continued to shrink.
He was 3ft… 2ft… 1ft…
Steve looked around and noticed that Peter was gone.
“Peter?”
Steve looked the other way.
Peter was now 0.5”… 0.01”… 0.001”…
“Darn kid…. He must’ve gone into the locker room…” Steve grumbled, as he turned to walk towards the locker room. Steve didn’t even bother looking down at the tiles below.
Peter looked around at the strange surroundings, he found himself in. In fact, the surrounding wasn’t that strange. Except for the fact that he was now as tall as a speck of dust!
He was standing in between the grooves of the square tiles on the floor, near the edge of the pool. He noticed the sun shining on him, when a large object suddenly stepped over the small opening between the giant tiles, blocking all the sunlight and putting Peter in total darkness for a moment. Steve had just stepped over the tile, where Peter was hiding.
After a few moments had passed, Steve had finally opened the door to the locker room, and he went in. Peter let out a sigh of relief when he heard the door slam shut.
“Alright, little man… I guess it’s time to grow you back, huh?” Allen voice rang from within his mind.
“Yeah….” Peter thought. It didn’t matter if he spoke or thought, Allen could hear both.
“I just need to figure out in what fashion I’m gonna shrink you back… Heheh….” Allen chuckled. “Shall we grow your legs first? Or, your arms?”
What was Allen going to do next?
