The boys weren't sure about being nerds yet. They still retained part of their adult thoughts. Rusty, the owner of the store, could guess this easily by the unsure glances they cast at him and around them. Sure, having two nerdy sons to share is passion for popular culture was something he'd dreamed of for a very long time, but to be certain to ensnare them, he had to prove himself a bit crafty and very patient. He had to manipulate them so that the transformation'd be complete without them getting scared and running off. There were two of them, after all. The clothes had already altered them good but the mental state would require a tad more time. He just had to find a way to get them to stay in his vicinity for long. Indeed their interest caught, the two young teens shook their heads.
"Well, there's a video game store, an arcade, plenty of fun places to see computers and even a movie there where I think they are currently showing a lot of superhero features at the moment. Their portions of popcorn are just huge!"
Mitch and David smiled, very interested for sure. Furthermore, they were in another dimension! How cool would it be to visit and have a look around. How different were things here, really?
"And I'll treat you to the best ice-cream the mall has to offer," said Rusty with a wide smile.
That sold it to the regressed men, and they followed Rusty out of the store and into the mall, unaware of the changes subtly affecting their minds already...
