“I think I’ll “conjure” a genie,” Jeff says to himself, “hmmm… I think a mischievous genie could be fun… what is the worst that could happen, right? I mean… even a mischievous genie is bound by rules”.
After selecting what type of genie he’d like to “conjure”, which is a male adult genie with a mischievous personality, Jeff confirms his selection and wait to see what will happen. Unaware to Jeff, by choosing a genie with a mischievous personality means that the genie will not hesitate to trick Jeff into making a wish that might not end good for the teen.
At first nothing seems to happen, but then Jeff sees an oil lamp, just like the one from the Aladdin movie, appear in the middle of the room, the teen smiles, getting to his feet and approaching the lamp, before picking it up and giving it a good rub.
Jeff suddenly feels the lamp vibrate and the sound of wind howling, before suddenly a green whirlwind shoots from the lamp’s snout. Surprisingly, the whirlwind does not tear up the teen’s room, only a small breeze fills the room.
As the whirlwind grows, it slowly takes on the form of a human-like being, with green skin, pointy ears, a black goatee and yellow eyes.
The genie stretches, “aaaah, feels so good to be once again summoned,” he says, grinning down at Jeff, “you can’t imagine how cramped that damn lamp is, this room of yours… Jeff, is not that big either, buuuut… I can adjust easily,” with that the genie shrinks himself a little, “there, much better”.
Jeff’s eyes are wide, “how… how do you know my name,” he asks, “and shouldn’t you be calling me “master”?”.
The genie laughs, “I’m a genie, I know everything there is to know,” he says, “pfff… that kind of thing is just for children’s cartoons,” he then continues, “in reality, we genies are free to call our summoners anything we deem to find more fitting”.
“Soooo, I guess the thing with me having only three wishes is also not accurate?”
The genie grins, “well, yes and no,” he says, “it depends on what kind of genie you summon, with me you have six free wishes”. The genie then causes himself to appear like a 15-year-old boy, “however,” the “teen” says, grinning, as he circles Jeff, eyeing the teen closely, “IF you were to set me free… there aren’t any limits, not for you and neither for me”.
“Re…,” Jeff is about to ask when the genie cuts him off.
“HOWEVER, if you WERE to set me free,” he says, still grinning, “I won’t be bound by those silly rules. I’ll be able to do as I please, not having to follow your orders”.
“Um…,” Jeff mumbles.
The genie rolls his eyes, “oh please,” he says, “I may be mischievous, but I am NOT evil. I just might do some itty-bitty little pranks, just for laughs… nothing serious…. But hey… it’s YOUR choice, I can’t force a wish upon you”.
Jeff relaxes a little, “okay, that’s a relief,” he says.
The genie smiles, “now, having said that,” he says, “what will your first wish be?”
