The sun is setting as Alex, Luke, and Carl ride their bikes through the countryside. The boys, dressed in their casual school clothes, are enjoying a rare day off from fighting monsters and saving the world.
Alex grins, pedaling a bit ahead. "Man, we haven't had a day this quiet in ages. No monsters, no evil plots. Just us and the fresh air."
Carl leans back, riding no-handed, laughing. "Don't jinx it, man. You know as soon as you say something like that, Skullface is gonna show up and ruin everything."
Luke, ever the calm one, chuckles softly. "Carl's right. Let's just appreciate the peace while it lasts."
Suddenly, the wind shifts, and a foul, rotten smell fills the air. Luke stops, sniffing the air. "Does anyone else smell that?"
Carl wrinkles his nose. "Ugh, it's like something crawled out of the compost bin... and died. Twice."
They turn a corner, and before them, a huge, run-down farm stretches out. The crops look twisted and blackened, as if some dark force had leeched the life from them. In the distance, an old farmhouse creaks ominously in the wind.
Alex narrows his eyes. "That... doesn't look right."
As the boys approach the farm's entrance, a figure emerges from the cornfield. A hulking, scruffy farmer with glowing red eyes and gnarled hands gripping a rusty scythe stands before them, his face twisted in a sinister sneer.
"Who dares trespass on my land?" the farmer growls. "No one steps foot on Farmer Grimroot's property without paying the price!"
Carl, always quick with a quip, points at the farmer. "Uh, your crops are looking a little... dead, man. Maybe it's time to invest in some fertilizer?"
The farmer’s sneer deepens. "Laugh all you want, city boys. Lord Skullface has granted me powers beyond your imagination, and soon... your world will be nothing but dust and decay!"
With a flick of his scythe, dark energy swirls around the field. The crops begin to writhe and twist into monstrous forms, the earth cracking as massive vine-like tendrils rise from the ground.
Alex clenches his fists, his watch glowing red. "Guess the break's over. Time to armor up!"
In unison, the boys activate their watches, shouting, "Cyber Space Warriors, Power Up!"
In a flash of light, they transform, their sleek armor gleaming in the fading sunlight.
Alex steps forward as the Red Cyber Space Warrior, his voice firm. "We'll stop you, Grimroot! Your harvest of doom ends here!"
Farmer Grimroot laughed and twirled his scythe. "We'll see about that Cyber Space Warriors. I have a very special surprise in store for you three!"
