“Well, if I were you,” Lucy says, “I’d do it. Yes, it’ll be embarrassing and humiliating, but at least I wouldn’t be seen as a “quitter” or “scaredy-cat”. Plus, I wouldn’t worry, because he can’t force you to do something you don’t want. You lost a bet, you went through with your “punishment”, so after this weekend is over, he has no reason nor right to force you to dress up as a girl again!”
“But… what if he should,” Jayden asks, “and what, if I don’t do as he says, what if he won’t be my friend anymore… or worse: start to threaten me?!”
“Then he never was your friend, as cold as that sounds, because a true friend would not force you to do something you don’t want,” Lucy says, “and if he should threaten you, just stay away from him, block his phone number, go to the police, there are multiple ways to deal with people like that”.
Jayden hesitates, “I… I dunno, Lucy,” he then says, “I… I’m kinda scared!”
Lucy smiles, “hey, don’t worry,” she says, “I’ll protect you, I promise! But I doubt he’ll threaten you, he may be a perv, but I don’t think he is some sick psycho!”
Jayden thinks about it, the boy then sighs, “I guess I have no other choice,” he says, “so, how should this work? I don’t even own girl clothes”.
Lucy smiles, “I know where mom stores my old clothes, they should fit you, don’t worry, you won’t have to wear anything to girly, since Cody hasn’t told you what to wear, right?”
“True,” Jayden says, relaxing a little, “so, I can wear a jeans or shorts and don’t have to wear a dress or skirt?”
“Correct,” Lucy says.
Jayden smiles, “that is a relief,” he says, “okay, what about my hair?”
“Well, I have some blond extensions which we’ll just clip into your hair, this will cause you to have long hair,” Lucy says, “and after we snapped that picture, you can become your normal self again”.
“But… I have to stay a “girl” for the whole weekend,” Jayden says.
“No you don’t,” Lucy says, “he’s not here to “make sure” that you do, right?”
“I… I dunno,” Jayden says, “hearing what you have said, and thinking about how weird he actually is acting, and knowing the reason behind sending him a picture of me as a girl… what if he spies on me and I don’t notice it? Nah… even though I hate becoming a “girl”, I think I have to see this through. I mean… it’s only for two days, mom and dad aren’t here so only you, me and Cody know”.
Lucy shrugs, “it’s your decision,” she says, “well, are you ready?”
Jayden sighs, “no… but yes,” he says, “first the hair?”
Lucy shakes her head, “no, first, you need to dress in some of my old clothing, then we’ll do your hair and make up!”
“Okay, you’re the boss,” Jayden says.
Lucy smiles, “wait here, I’ll get the box with my old clothes,” she says and hurries out of the room.
Jayden lets out a sigh as he sits down on his sister’s bed, “what have I agreed to,” he asks himself, “I hope I won’t regret it!”
