After spending some time at the carnival, and as the light of the day starts to fade, “Judy” decides it’s time to head back home.
The “girl” walks down the boardwalk, after walking for an hour, the “girl” decides to take a break, so she sits down on a bench and looks towards the sea… wait… why does this suddenly feel so familiar?
“Judy,” she then hears a familiar voice, looking up the “girl” notices mister Mystic walking towards her, the “girl’s” eyes widen, “what a surprise seeing you here”.
‘Am… am I having some kind of Deja Vu,’ “Judy” thinks to herself, ‘it’s… it’s just like in the dream I had,’ the girl opens her mouth, “Mister Mystic,” the “girl” asks in surprise.
The man stops near the bench, smiling down at the “girl”, “please, call me Milan,” he says, “what are you doing here all by yourself? Waiting for someone? Maybe your boyfriend?”
“I… I don’t have a boyfriend,” Jayden finds himself answering, ‘this is EXACTLY like in the dream I had,’ he thinks to himself.
“Oh,” Milan says, seeming surprised, “how come? I mean, such a pretty and stunning girl like you surely has to have a boyfriend!”
Jayden finds himself shrugging, “I’m not really interested in boys,” he says, “I mean… I am only 10, I personally think I’m just still to young for a relationship”.
“Nonsense,” Milan says, “you are never to young or to old to have a relationship. I think you just haven’t met the right boy yet? Or maybe… you are more attracted towards older males?”
“I… I honestly don’t know,” Jayden finds himself saying, “I mean, there are handsome boys in my age, but I must admit… I do find adult males somehow more… interesting? S-sorry… that came out weird!”
Milan chuckles, “I don’t think it’s weird,” he says, “you are not the only girl who finds older males more interesting than boys. Boys your age are so childish and annoying, adults like me however are far more mature”.
“That… makes sense,” Jayden says, “I… I must admit… I do find you… um… rather… well… um… attractive,” the “girl” blushing hard, her eyes wide, “s-sorry… I didn’t mean to be s-so direct!”
The man chuckles, “don’t worry about it,” he says, he then looks around and leans down, lowering his voice, “to be honest with you,” he whispers, “I find you pretty attractive myself. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, and I wouldn’t mind if we’d get to know each other a little… closer. What do you say?”
Jayden is shocked and surprised, “wh-what… are you s-serious,” he asks, “I mean… wouldn’t it be… wrong if we would date? I don’t think my parents would… like it!”
Milan smiles, “they don’t have to know,” he says, “you are old enough to make your own decisions. You just have to listen to your heart and feelings, you shouldn’t bother about what other people might say, if you feel that it’s right having a relationship with an adult, then why shouldn’t you? Besides: it could be fun having a secret relationship with an adult. Think about it, it would be like in a fairy tale: you the young princess and me the experienced strong knight in shining armor. Back then it was not uncommon for young princesses to run away with their lover when the parents were against the relationship. Just imagine what it would be like, no one would ever find us, we’d be always on the move thanks to my job, wouldn’t that be amazing? Just us two? You staying in our secret residence, taking care of our children, while I make sure we’ll have enough money to support not only us, but also our kids? I make a lot of money with my shows, you’ll never have to work yourself, you can leave the financial issue to me!”
“That… that does sound… nice,” Jayden finds himself saying, “I… I do feel a strong connection with you, Milan. As if… as if we belong together, imagining being with you, creating a family with you… it… it feels so… right”.
Milan smiles, “I too feel that we belong together,” he says, “I promise, I’ll do my best to be a good husband and father”.
“I… I need to think it over,” the “girl” says, “it… it’s getting late… I better head home,” she then gets to her feet, "it'll take an hour with the bus to get home, and the last bus for the day is about to leave. I better hurry".
“Why don’t you come and spend the night at my place? I only live about ten minutes from here, and before you ask: I have multiple residences, almost in every town and city in the country because of me traveling so much,” Milan suddenly asks, “I’d prefer you don’t head home all by yourself, I don't want anything bad happen to you”.
“I… I don’t know,” “Judy” replies, “I don’t think my sister would like me staying at a stranger’s house”.
“She doesn’t need to know that you are staying at my home for the night, nor does she have to know that you are spending a night with an adult,” Milan replies, “just send a text, telling her you’re staying at a friend’s house and that you’ll be back tomorrow evening”.
