"Well" said Sasha "Guess its time to see if these things work." She gave her wings a flick.
Her new body seemed to know what to do. After a short run she was airborne. The harpy body, with its breasts, was not particularly aerodynamic, but nonetheless she was able to maintain stability.
Oh God, the view. Crags, forests, streams and lakes. No buildings, no sign that humans had ever walked here. And the pure air, not clogged with the pollutants of earth. Sasha breathed deeply. She soared over the mountains and for the first time since she was sucked into the painting and the life of a harpy she felt good. Looking to her side she saw Kyle had joined her. She gave a smile, and Kyle smiled back. It was a universal human fantasy, to fly.
The two harpy sisters, as they had come to think of themselves, spotted the pool represented in the painting with harpies of various ages surrounding it.
