"Maybe Tina was right," Rita remarks as they wait for Tina to pick Leah up. "Maybe teenagers don't need diapers." The week was over, and the entire time, Leah avoided a single accident. It had taken her more effort and concentration than she would admit, however.
"Hello?" Tina says, coming in through the front door. Leah jumps to her feet eagerly. "Load up, sweetie, we have to get going."
"I wanted to change out of the diaper," Leah protests. She's wearing a skirt to cover the diaper bulge, though during the week didn't always bother with a bottom over her diaper, to prove to Rita she wasn't having accidents.
"Sorry, but we don't have time," Tina says. "Grab your things and get in the car." Leah grabs her bags, hugs Rita goodbye, and runs out to the car. Tina follows soon after. "Rita says you stayed clean all week."
"I did."
"Good! Hopefully, you can keep that diaper clean until we get home," Tina says. Leah frowns.
"But it's only a few minutes to get home."
"Normally, yes," Tina says. "But not today."
"And you didn't let me use the bathroom before we left?" Leah demands.
"Look, it'll be fine," Tina says firmly. Leah crosses her legs. She's not completely sure about that, but she's going to do her best.
"Why will it take longer to get home?" Leah asks. That will give her an idea of whether she wants to ask to run back inside or maybe stop at a gas station.
