Finally, Leah identified the feeling that had been bubbling up. Relief. And not just the kind of relief she experienced from emptying her bowels and bladder. But relief that nothing was expected of her. Not even good behavior. It's not like Rita would put a two-year-old in timeout. At her apparent age, Leah wouldn't have any consequences.
No one was judging her. She wasn't even judging herself! And without the shame of using diapers and sucking on pacifiers, Leah could find some enjoyment in her actions.
Rita finished changing Leah's diaper and put her into a playpen in the kitchen. Leah watched Rita work on dinner. Just as food was ready to be served, Leah felt her tummy rumble. She squirmed, not happy at the feeling, and only then did she realize there was mush in her diaper. She pooped without realizing!
But like before, Leah wasn't embarrassed or ashamed. Her tummy rumbled again. Leah bent into a squat and began to push. A log slowly entered her diaper. The laxative Tina gave her really was strong. Leah couldn't believe how much more poop she had, yet she could feel it spreading around her butt.
And...she kind of liked it? Leah grinned around her pacifier. It was like all the stress and pressure she'd been carrying since that day in the store was exiting her body and entering her diaper.
Rita finally noticed Leah pooping and came over. Leah finished and held up her arms. As Rita carried her away for another diaper change, Leah smiled.
Maybe this week wouldn't be miserable after all.
