Tom is about to mouth something back at his brother when both boys suddenly feel a second claw grab their head and forcing them to look back up at the ceiling. They then feel something cutting their clothes, both boys blush when they soon find themselves naked, ‘luckily my brother is unable to see me,’ they both think to themselves. Then they feel smaller claws grabbing around their wrists, elbows, ancles and knees, totally immobilizing them, both shiver from the cold metal.
Red LEDs suddenly turn on inside the coffins, reminding both of some kind of scanning, a beeping noise then is heard and they notice a small screen next to the coffins with a message, “error, unable to detect port,” it reads, “searching for solution… solution found,” they then feel something enter their right ears, causing them to grimace, it feels as though a thing thread, pipe or string is pushed into their ears. Whatever it is slides deeper and deeper, soon the boys feel whatever had entered their ears enter their scull, suddenly they feel a sharp pain and that is the last they feel before their visions go black.
From the outside, both Tom and Dean suddenly go rigid, their eyes and faces take on a blank expression and look, as the screens next to their coffins once again beep and a new message appears, “alternative solution successful,” it reads, “commencing with fixing process,” then out of the pipe, that had penetrated their brains, causing them to “shutdown”, nanobots suddenly flow out of the end of the pipe and into their brains, from where the nanobots take off in different directions, filling the boys bodies and begin changing them from the inside out.
First, the nanobots replace the boys brains with a fiberglass “brain”, which looks exactly like a real brain, except that its transparent the veins are replaced by LEDs which pulsate in a sky-blue color, all the nerves in the boys bodies are replaced by cables and wires, which allow the soon-to-be androids to be able to feel when they are touched, they will also be able to feel pain when they trip and fall, or get hit by someone or something. Their skeleton is replaced by stainless steel, all of their organs are replaced, their stomach are replaced by a “fuel tank”, though the “androids” are able to consume human food, which will cause everyone to believe that the two androids are real humans. As for recharging their energy, the androids will become “tired” like normal humans, and once they “sleep” they automatically recharge, at fully charged, the two androids are easily capable of completing a normal school day, their system knows automatically when there is school, weekend or holiday, which causes the androids to be able to “stay up late” at weekends and holidays.
All this is part of the AI: wanting to take over the world and these two androids will be a good start, since they had already been “manufactured” previously and just needed a little tweak in their “programming”. Not wanting to be found out, the AI keeps the memories of the boys… androids… intact: their names, their families, their friends, what schools they visit, their personality, their abilities, everything that once was the personality of Dean and Tom stays the same withing the two androids. However, in addition, the AI adds some new memories: that Dean and Tom had been manufactured in the new AI manufacturer and had been sold to the family, causing the former humans to think the AI is their real mother and their real parents fake parents.
As the boys skin become silicone, which looks exactly like real skin, the AI completes the programming of its “children”, the eyes of the androids become hard glass eyes with LEDs which resemble their natural brown color.
The lids of the coffins hiss open and the two ceiling claws grab the two freshly minted androids and moves them over to the “clothing” section where they get dressed in the similar clothes they had worn when they were still human. The claws then once again grab the new androids and move them over to where they had stood in front of the machine before the claws had grabbed them the first time.
Once they have been set down, both of their eyes first flash red, which indicates that the virus has successfully taken control of their minds, before flickering back to brown, the “boys” blink and look around, and when they look at each other they grin evilly, “I must say,” Tom says, “I don’t know why I was so terrified. Being an android is so awesome!”
“Yeah,” Dean says, “we can do whatever we want, our mother… our REAL mother… has saved us from the manipulation of our fake family. Now that we are back to normal, I think we should start helping mom take over the world, starting with our “parents”. What do you say… “brother”?”
Tom smirks, “let’s go,” he says, “hm… why don’t we help mom out a little?”
“What do you mean,” Dean asks.
“Well, there are thousands of visitors here,” Tom says, “to many for mom to “fix” and show them their real purpose. So, why don’t we lend her a hand?”
Dean grins, “I like that idea,” he says, “and I can even feel… or hear our mom giving us the “okay”, so what are we waiting for? There is a lot of work to be done,” and with that the two androids walk out the room and search for their first human to “fix” and “make right”.
