But there was no 'next person' as Silvia started to shrink and the room around her begun get bigger. The bed under her was expanding to king sized mattress and the room looked properly lit and had a lot of old looking stuffed animals and plushies everywhere. She stratched her head in confusion as she wasn't sure if she had been here before or if it was a false memory.
The room looked spacious but still had a 'this-is-not-a-real-room' kind of vibe. It was like an attic filled with assortment of stuff from books to all sorts old furniture. Room had a single lightbulb hanging from the ceiling and a window that had a pair of curtains that smelled washed. Ceiling formed a half-triangle shape making it look like a drawing Silvia once drew in her class.
In front of Silvia was a wooden sturdy looking door that had a fancy looking doorknob and a big lock from which you could see to the other side. Only a single old looking clock with tiny handles were on the walls of this weird looking room. Walls were made out of wood or what Silvia thought was wood as she knocked on it.
Silvia was amazed how the room got so pretty, clean and... so... familiar looking. Something fishy was going on sure but Silvia was more curious and awe'd than scared of the different room she was in at. To her it felt way more fun to look at things. Then she looked on her own body and saw herself in pristine and fancy pyjamas.
"Hey. Where all the tat-oh's at!" Silvia shouted as she looked under her pyjamas. Her body was clean and had no signs of anything ever done to it. "What in the blazes is going on here? Jenni! Jen-ni!"
Silvia couldn't find Jennifer anywhere as she looked under the bed and as there were no clear hiding spots. Silvia was utterly confused where her daughter had gone at. Weirdly as she went back on the floor it also had a washed up smell. Everything felt weird to as every single item or part of it smelled nice.
She had to see if she also had a good smell and took a small sniff at her armpit and swore she smelled like a vanilla ice cream.
"This smell... I 'member it. It's..." Silvia said and almost was taken by the smell.
Suddenly Silvia head a graveling screetch as the room's door opened very slowly.
A woman in her mid fifties wearing glasses pushed her head behind the door looking at Silvia sternly. It was Granny Matilda. She hadn't seen her in ages and came running to give her a hug but soon felt weird. Something about her made her feel weird. Wasn't granny way younger than she remembered? Granny Matilda didn't look at Silvia as happily and inviting as she had hoped.
"Young lady. How many times have I told you to sleep when it's nighttime?" Matilda angrily and sternly spat at her.
"Nighttime...!? But... I'm a-" Silvia pointed at her window.
"YOUNG LADY!" Matilda raised her voice which sent Silvia to quickly run back bed and take safety under the planket.
Then as swiftly she heard the door in the front being slammed. Silvia hadn't been this confused in her lifetime. Not even her own mother was so grumpy. A blocked off memories begun to pour into Silvia's mind as she remembered her granny being the grumpiest and the most elderly people she knew. It seemed that she had only stuck with the good memories of her as all the bad ones were either blocked or forgotten.
As the old clock in the wall struck it's tiny bell twelve times she begun to slowly remember where she was...
