Just a little trigger to make her want to engage with movies or shows for a younger audience. It'll just start with nostalgia, but she will eventually enjoy things aimed at toddlers like Sesame Street. When they get home, Tina will ask her what she wants to do, and she should say she wants to watch an old childhood film she enjoyed. Then, they could cuddle up in the couch and watch it, maybe even throw in a few more triggers to make her feel a little more child-like. It'd be a fun introduction to her new (month long) toddler life, where she'll get reminded of just how fun being little is. The plan was perfect! She whispered *neon uplift* into her ear, and continued the drive.
When they finally got home, Tina gently shook Leah awake.
"Wake up sleepy head, we're home." She smiled as Leah yawned, pacifier almost falling out of her mouth before she started sucking it again.
"Dang, did I fall asleep? Ugh, am I gonna need naps now?" She groaned.
"Possibly. But let's not worry about it. I made a promise to make this fun, so...is there anything you want to do right now?"
Leah narrowed her eyes in thought, eyebrows furrowing immediately as something crossed her mind.
"This is going to sound really weird, but...I kinda want to play Xplatoon."
Tina blinked a few times in filed attempts to understand.
"Play what now?"
"Huh? Oh, Xplatoon. It's a motendo game where a bunch of squid people fight each other in fun turf wars in aw future where all humans wiped each other out through nuclear warfare that melted the icecaps and rose the sea level. It always seemed a little childish to me, but...I guess I want to play it now?"
Tina blinked several more times. So it's a video game? Tina was no stranger to them, she was only 27 afterall (even if she sometimes felt like she was older). However, this sounds...less kid friendly? Or maybe it was one of those child-like things that only had dark background things. Regardless, Leah wanted to play it, so...whose Tina to disagree?
"Alright. Then, let's play Xplatoon. Have you played it before?"
"A little. I put a little bit of time in it. They have a bunch of weapons that are oversized painting supplies with weird names. I think my favorite is the Blobobber."
"That's an actual name?"
"Right? It's, like, a bucket that shoots out a large glob of ink. I donno, I just thought it was funny sounding." She frowned. "Wait, I can't play it. I can't read. Shoot."
"Oh, that's no problem. I can just read whatever's on screen for you!"
"You really wouldn't mind?"
Tina shakes her head, happy that at least some of her plan will come to fruition.
In the next few minutes, they enter the house, put down their things, and Leah brings out her motendo Twitch and boots up Xplatoon 3. Tina was more surprised there was more than one. As the game booted up...
