The elderly neighbor next door.
Hannah hadn't even noticed Leslie's elderly neighbor Elizabeth in her garden. A retired clerk for the city, Elizabeth was close to 80 now spending most of her days tending to her garden. Whenever Hannah visited her cousin, the matronly woman would always offer her a warm smile.
Now though, Hannah could see years falling off of the woman. Quickly descending through her 70s and 60s Hannah watched Elizabeth's white hair begin to darken, slowly becoming a rich chocolate brown. Elizabeth though had yet to notice, continuing to tend to her garden although with a bit more energy.
Anxiously Hannah glanced at Lorelai, noticing the ebony haired girl stifle a giggle. Quickly, Lorelai put a finger to her mouth, indicating Hannah to be quiet as she pointed at Elizabeth. Gulping, Hannah complied, looking to the not so elderly woman before gasping in shock.
In the moment Hannah looked away, Elizabeth had sped through her 50s and was about to exit her 40s. The woman's hair was devoid of grey, gradually returning to a deep chocolate brown that became healthier as she grew younger. Hannah watched as the woman's body improved, firming under her clothing as her breasts rose. Entering her 30s, Hannah could see the woman's skin smooth, wrinkles vanishing as age spots vanished from her hands.
"Lorelai," Hannah asked, her voice little more than a whisper. "What are you doing?" Lorelai quickly shushed Hannah, continuing to press the button on the Regression Watch.
Elizabeth now passed 30 and quickly backtracked through her 20s. Elizabeth's appearance continued to improve her skin flawless, her breasts rising, her stomach flattening. Elizabeth paused, adjusting her slacks that now seemed a bit looser on her hips. As she hit 20, Hannah fidgeted nervously. The woman was so young now, her face rounding as her body thinned. The young brunette was glowing with youthful energy and vigor as she continued to garden.
As she entered her teens, Elizabeth's appearance continued to alter. By 18 the young brunette was becoming skinnier, her breasts rising and firming. Elizabeth's face now began to round, her eyes seeming wider as her nose appeared smaller, more upturned. She couldn't be more than 16 now, sporting a slim build with chocolate brown hair that cascaded past her shoulders. As she crept closer to her preteen years, Hannah could see the girl shrink ever so slightly, inches slowly melting off the girl.
As 13 became 12, Elizabeth shrank once more, having lost at least 6 inches from age 16 to 12. Puberty was abandoning the girl, her breasts deflating under her blouse becoming the size of softballs. Still she grew younger 12 becoming 11 then 10. Now Elizabeth was a child once more, only slightly taller than the pair of 8 year olds. Puberty was something for the adorable brunette to look forward to, her body straight and skinny, her hands being slowly enveloped by her increasingly large blouse.
Now the regression began to slow as Elizabeth became 9 than 8 years old. The girls face was round, her eyes wide an innocent, her round face framed by chocolate brown hair. Confused the girl now stood, instinctively grabbing her far too large slacks as she stumbled in shoes that were several sizes too large. Now the same age as Hannah and Lorelai the girl looked around confused at a world that seemed much larger.
"Hi," Lorelai chirped, drawing Elizabeth's attention. "I'm Lorelai and this is Hannah what's your name?"
"Lizzie," the newly minted 8 year replied.
"Lizzie do you want to come play tag with us," Lorelai asked. Lizzie's eyes went wide with joy, the girl nodding as she now sprinted to the girls side. "Yeah," she exclaimed happily, leaving her shoes behind. "You're it!"
Giggling Lizzie and Lorelai now sprinted away, Hannah befuddled for a moment before sprinting after the pair. "Hey wait for me," she called. Soon three 8 year olds were running happily through the yard, any adult concerns lost in the simple joys of playing.
