"Uh, Aunt Rita, could- could I ride in a stroller?" Leah asks weakly. Rita sighs.
"Oh, good, I'm so glad you asked! I've been watching you struggle around, thinking that this would be easier if you rode in a stroller. But I wasn't going to suggest it."
"Yeah, I don't think I'm going to get around easy anywhere with an upset tummy and diaper," Leah says, relieved that Rita doesn't think it's weird. She lets out a small squeak as Rita picks her up.
"Let's go get that stroller, then!" Rita says. She pinches Leah's cheek. "You cutie-pie."
Rita carries Leah to the stroller rental place. Renting a stroller is thankfully free, though Rita assures Leah she would happily pay an extra fee so Leah can enjoy the park. She grabs a stroller (they all look the same and rather boring, unfortunately) and carefully buckles Leah in.
Leah settles back in the stroller. She can feel the small amounts of poop smushing against her butt, but it's not as bad as she thought it would be. And the stroller itself is actually really comfortable!
This really is the best option, she decides. They're able to move through the park much faster and people tend to give them extra room. Maybe Leah should see if there's other benefits Rita can get from having a "baby" or "toddler" with her.
