Since she can't climb up the stairs, and is being forced to crawl, she fears going to school. She heads back to the living room and finds a magazine. The magazine she had picked up was a Seventeen magazine. They had a specialty on her favorite show, which was Gilmore Girls. In a matter of about twenty minutes she was finding it harder and harder to read things.
Jennifer went from reading full sentences to not being able to read anything over two syllables. Then she was only able to read words like cat, bat, dog. Shortly after that she could only read parts of words that were such as ba ba, ma ma, and da da. She was only a little confused as to why she couldn't read the words anymore. Then she threw the magazine and thought it was out of boredom.
She saw the channel changer on the coffee table and looked at it. She couldn't read any of the numbers anymore. They looked so foreign to her. However, she could remember what button push to turn on the t.v.
When the T.V. was on she could have sworn it was in Spanish or some other language. She couldn't understand a word they were saying, she also found the program to be boring for that reason. She started channel surfing and couldn't understand any of the channels. For that reason she turned off the t.v. and tried saying "What's wrong with me," but all that came out was "waaavonitheeeeeee." She was shocked and couldn't understand what was happening to her.
At that moment she broke into tears and...
