"...I can't help it, you look just like a baby," Tonya whispers. She grimaces. "I'm so sorry, Leah."
"Wha oo me?" Leah fumbles weakly. Tonya tickles her belly.
"Aw, you're such a smart little girl, knowing so many words!" She wipes Leah and frowns at the state of Leah's underwear. "Oh, you are way too little for pullups. You're still a diapee girl. I should have changed you before we came here. Your mommy thinks you're a bit bigger than you are, but I know the truth."
"No, Tonya, sop," Leah begs. Tonya sighs.
"I can't- I can't help it, Leah, I swear. You're- you're just a baby!" She dresses Leah again, dirty underwear and all. "And I'm your babysitter. The best babysitter in the world!"
Reeling, feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and uncertain of everything, Leah finds herself being brought out the bathroom and placed in the seat of Tonya's shopping cart. Tonya coos at Leah, then makes a beeline for the baby supplies aisle. Leah tries a few times to talk to her, but Tonya only can briefly respond normally, and each time less and less. Mostly, she acts like Leah is a baby. And Leah, to her frustration, feels more and more like one as Tonya grabs everything a little baby girl could ever need. Tonya checks out, not batting an eye at the price, instead saying that Leah's mommy will pay her back.
(I accidentally posted this under the wrong prompt first. This is the right one.)
Leah wants to snort derisively. Her mommy works at a daycare, she already has all of this! Her eyes widen. No, not her mommy, Tina! Tina! She lets out a quiet nervous whine, which earns her a pacifier in her mouth. Tonya treating her like a baby, thus making her act like one is one thing, but referring to Tina as her mommy, and thus making her think of Tina that way feels almost worse!
They return to the bathroom, where Tonya changes Leah into a thick baby diaper and a pink onesie that says "Stinky Princess" on it. Leah feels herself wet her fresh diaper almost immediately. Thanks, Tonya.
Tonya holds Leah on her hip and smiles at her.
"Now that you've been changed, little baby Leah, let's go..."
