The drive back home was a quiet one. For Leah, just the action of using her phone was putting her back in the mind space of being a teenager again. Sure, being a baby is great, but she liked having a little more engagement for her brain. She ignored her used diaper (being used a few more times on the ride) and her babyish clothing, allowing herself to relax back into the role she was already familiar with.
"Hold on a second, Leah, I need to stop for gas." Tina said, Leah giving a simple grunt of acknowledgment. They stopped, and Leah took the time to look out the window. Positioned right next to them was a car with two kids in the back, and the parents pumping gas; the mother turned to see Leah and gave a smile.
"Hello!" She said. Leah had opened the window earlier because she was feeling hot (and also to air out the smell of poop), so Leah waved without thinking. She immediately panicked as she realized she was still dressed as a baby and was still in a poopy diaper.
"Are you not in a booster seat, sweetie? How old are you?" The woman asked, making Leah want to scoff; she's dealt with nosy mothers who won't mind their own business many times in her life. However, she found herself immediately responding with holding two fingers up.
"Two." Leah blinked, unsure why she did that. Then she remembered...that was a part of the hypnosis, telling everyone she was 2. Somehow that had slipped her mind. It never really came up outside that first day, so she didn't think to ask Tina to remove it.
The mother gasps in surprise, and Leah suddenly wants her dexterity back if for no other reason than to throw a brick at her.
"That's-"
"She's big enough to where she doesn't need one." The woman was surprised as Tina returned to her seat and spoke out her window, "I appreciate your concern, though."
Tina didn't give the woman a chance to respond as she drove off, impressing Leah a little with her attitude.
"Could you believe that woman?" Tina scoffed herself, making Leah smile despite herself.
"Uh, Tina? I still say I'm two." Leah voiced. Tina gives a shrug.
"Well, you said you wanted to stay like that right?"
"Yeah, but...I can't say otherwise?"
"Would you need to? Again, you said you wanted to be a baby, and that means being two."
Leah wanted to argue further, but realized there's not much point. Leah did want to be a baby, so it shouldn't be much of a problem right? She wouldn't NEED to tell someone else she's a teen and/or hypnotized right? The logic was sound, but something about it put Leah on edge. Should she say something?
