About 2 & half weeks later....
An anthro Naturo the hamster entered the living room. Maxwell was surprised to see her; yes her. "Hear me out." Naturo said to him. "Who are you?! How'd you get in here?!" Maxwell yelled angry getting up. "It's me Alex dad. I got what I thought was a feral hamster Animal Costume to be the hamster Naturo. But turns out as you see I got a Shifter Costume because of a mix up by the store. And what's worst I'm Sealed. I'm forever stuck as a female hamster." Just then Gomons the gerbil in anthro form entered the room. "It is Alex Maxwell. I seen him put the costume on. And I told him now her that if she didn't say anything to you tonight I was going to tell you myself what was going on. I gave her an ultimatum. I got sick of you worrying like crazy because you had no idea where Alex was. That Alex was in fact the hamster Naruto. And Naruto not telling you." Gomons told him. Maxwell was in overwhelming relief that Alex was okay; kinda. He's been worried sick because he had no idea where Alex was. He filed a missing persons report for him. Maxwell went up and hugged the hamster telling her everything will be okay. She cried saying "It's Naruto now." After everyone settle down Maxwell called the police and told them he found his son finally; citing it as a Animal Costumes related thing. The police understood that. Now it was asked why Naruto didn't say anything till now. Naruto replied that she thought Maxwell would be pissed as hell at her. Maxwell told her no he's not. It isn't his now her fault what happened. The store screwed up screwing her over. Gomons then said "I guess we should get rid of all of Alex's clothes. Not like she can wear them anymore or even needs to." It was agreed to do that. So all of Alex's clothes were packed up and donated to a thrift store. A few days pasted and more things were done. The cage that Gomons and now Naruto were using when they were feral was modified. It had a clear greenish tube attached to it with a cork on the end. The cork would be removed so that the two while feral form could go in and up into the cage & vice versa at their leisure. Also since Naruto and Gomons slept in the cage at night as ferals Alex's bed was completely removed from her bedroom because no one was using it anymore. Also Alex was now being exclusively called Naruto. Lastly Naruto was now Maxwell's pet as well was Gomons. Naruto actually was calling Maxwell master or owner now as well was Gomons. Soon it was questioned if Naruto should even attend school still. Ultimately the answer was yes. Unfortunately it went very poorly. Naruto came home in the middle of the day in tears. Naruto explain that she was made fun of for being a hamster, being female and being smaller than everyone else (being about 3 & half foot tall now). And the school handled this really poorly by expelling her because she was as they said 'She too much of a disruptive element'. Maxwell tried to console Naruto but she just let it out burst of "I'm just a hamster! Treat me as one!" And she ran up to her room. Gomons in feral form in the cage saw Naturo enter the room. Naturo shifted to feral form & went into the tube & up it into the cage. Naturo went into a corner of the cage & attempted to sleep. She just wanted the day to be over. The gerbil of course had no idea what was going on. That anything was wrong with the hamster. And of course the gerbil had no idea what time it was because he couldn't see the clock from inside the cage. It was sitting on the desk pointing out. There was no way either of them in the cage could see the face of it to read it.
Maxwell was sitting down stairs having no idea what to even do or say at this point. He had after all failed to console Naruto.
