Leah suddenly stops Lacy's hands, as the embarrassment and guilt was too much.
"Umm, Lacy?" Leah says in a slightly less youthful voice, "I'm not actually 2. I was just embarrassed about needing diapers at my age, since I was forced to need a babysitter to change me."
Lacy blinks in surprise, completely caught off guard. Leah starts to regret her decision---knowing she could've easily just come off as a toddler for the day---but she stood by it. She hated lying like this, and didn't think she could survive the week like this either. That, and the fact that she'd never be able to face Lacy or Jeremy again makes her feel incredibly sad.
"Woah, what? I figured you were a little mature for your age, but...how old are you?"
Leah turned away, her face probably turning a deeper shade of red.
"Oh man, that bad huh?" Lacy at least sounded sympathetic; if she thought Leah was 6 or 8, that wouldn't be the worst thing, "So let me get this straight, you're only pretending to be a baby because that's less embarrassing than needing diapers?"
Leah winces. When she puts it like that, it sounds really juvenile.
"I'm just...really good at passing as a toddler. It usually makes things easier, but...this just feels weird! I'm so sorry."
She covered her face, now feeling far more awkward. Oh, if only the ground would swallow her right now!
"Hey, hey relax! I'm...surprised, I admit, but glad you told me. I'd never have guessed if you didn't say anything."
Leah peeked one eye open through her fingers, seeing Lacy be more amused than upset.
"Those were actual accidents, though, right?"
"Y-Yeah." Leah admitted, feeling weird about how that's now the least embarrassing truth at the moment, "I, uh, ate something I shouldn't have, and it really-" A sudden cramp pushed out a short but noisy toot, making Leah cover her face again, "-upset my stomach. I've been like this for days, and it hasn't stopped."
"So your mom-"
"Aunt."
"Aunt? Told my brother you were 2 because..."
"I thought it'd make things less embarrassing and weird when it came to diaper changes, but it honestly just made things worse."
"So my brother, he-"
"-already changed me." Leah whimpered.
"Ah. Yikes. Do you, um, need to be changed? Do you know how to change yourself?"
Leah starts to nod her head before stopping and shaking her head. "No." She whispered.
"Okay, I think I get it now. You still want me to change you?"
Leah dared another peek, seeing Lacy with a frustratingly unreadable expression.
"If you don't mind?"
Lacy chuckled and shook her head.
"Nah, I ain't got a problem with it. Damn, you even got the clothes on. You were really going for it."
"T-That's a whole other story." Leah says with some hope of retaining her tarnished dignity. That dignity seems to be thrown out the window as Lacy forcefully shifts Leah back on her back with an 'eep' and begins opening her diaper.
"I'm sure, Hailey. If I'm being honest, it sounds like you either have the weirdest abusive aunt ever, or you might actually like acting like this. Well, outside of being changed by a couple of hot teens, huh?" She said with a killer smile that made Leah's heart flutter despite herself.
"I-I, um, that is-"
She was silenced as Lacy put her pacifier back into her mouth, completely flustering Leah into silence. Lacy could only chuckle as she began to wipe Leah down.
"Here's what we're going to do..."
