Sylvia walked into the room with a huff, she had just gotten back from highschool and it was a long day of bullshit. As she tossed her bag she nearly tripped on Jennifer. "Holy shit this kid." She cursed as she picked up Jennifer, still conched out, and put her on her mattress. It was annoying that they had to share rooms but Mary insisted on having the master in their doublewide.
Sylvia plopped herself on her stained bed, too late to call one of her "friends" over, and no place to stash Jen either, Sylvia resided to just sleep for the night.
When Jennifer woke up she groaned as she heard banging and scrapping. She rubbed her eyes to see better only to find the blurriness never went away. "W-what?" she said foggly, a bit surprised at her own voice, she stood up trying to find her way out of the room, bumping into a few things along the way. Thankfully she was able to get to the bathroom. Looking in the cracked mirror she gasped, revealing a few missing teeth. Jennifer was even younger still, now probably seven or maybe eight if she had to stretch it. Jennifer shook her head in disbelief, she was running out of days, what would happen if she got too young? She pushed the thought out of her head. She tried to see what was messing with her eyes until she came to the sorry conclusion that maybe she needed glasses now, glasses her family never could afford, probably didn't even go to a eye doctor in the first place.
Jennifer slumped, she had a hard enough time being nice, how in the world would she make the rest of her family be kind now? Who would even listen to a kid? Suddenly without even a knock, Sylvia strode in, nary even a piece of clothing on, her hair a mess as she didn't even pay Jen even a good morning.
