You diligently trot along the stone roads as your lady commands, the only sound you hear the clip-clopping of your hooves on the road. Suddenly she gives a slight tug, "whoa now, this inn is where I need to be for the moment." She gets off, leads you to a primitive sort of horse parking next to the building and ties you up at the headpiece. "Just to make sure you don't run away, darling. Don't worry, I'll be back in a moment." She walks inside, and you're left looking at some of the other horses stabled here, who don't seem to take much interest in you apart from the occasional sniffing.
After a while, she and two other people step out of the inn, vaguely discussing some sort of map location. "So this is where we'll find it?", one of them says. "I'm positive", the lady replies, "but as you know, I might need your protection in recovering it from that ruin. Anyway, let's go." You and two of the other horses are untied, and the group's members hop into their saddles. You overhear a short conversation about you:"Hey, you got a new horse? Must've cost a lot." "Oh, not at all, and it's a pretty strong stallion as well. I suppose such opportunities just present itself to me." You can't help but produce a mocking snort at these comments, but this goes unnoticed.
After a while of trotting in close formation, the group speeds up into a gallop and soon the location in question is reached, a somewhat overgrown entrance to what seems to be a large underground complex. "Well, here we are", she says...
