"While most people were focused on the presidential campaign," said Polly, "There were several other election results that were more favorable toward Animalians that were practically ignored. Several politicians that were voted out had actually adopted the "woke agenda", as some people call it, and were convinced that Animalians were, somehow, a threat to it. However, these "woke politicians" were opposed by more pragmatic ones, and, thanks to these pragmatic politicians, Animalia is allowed to set up several new colonies."

"Speaking of new colonies," said Polly, after a commercial break, "One of the newest colonies, in a matter of speaking, is the one that's been developing in Venice Beach in San Francisco. Due to recent atmospheric rivers, a large group of buildings were demolished to make room for Animalian-sized buildings. Because of that, one section of Venice beach has been renamed to Animalia Beach, and it's well on its way to being labeled as a proper colony. However, don't expect to find an official casino there, because California's gambling laws don't allow 'modern' casinos." At that, there was a lot of digital groaning.

"Hey, everyone," said Al, as he began his "sporty" segment, "and welcome to our 'sporty' segment! To start off, predator Animalians and Dinotopians are getting their hunting passes before heading to deal with some 'problem' species, such as feral pigs in Texas and/or turkeys. One of the big trends this hunting season is to bag the biggest wild turkey possible, but Kiya's record still stands strong even four years later."

"In other sporting news," said Al, after another commercial break, "It's turning out to be quite difficult to get Animalians on sporting teams for one reason or another." He then followed it up with several clips of Animalians accidentally breaking things during sports, mainly balls getting poked with claws or bursting from being held too hard, but occasionally there was a clip of an Animalian accidentally breaking something big, such as a basketball backboard, or even a bull Animalian accidentally breaking a soccer goal post by crashing into it.
"So, as they (sometimes) say, if you can't play in an established sport, just make your own." at that, there were various reactions, mainly of gifs of either people laughing or groaning at the joke. "So far, we've got that a specially reinforced medicine ball will be used, and that people are requesting that the sport "uniform" be a specially cropped (and reinforced) tank top and high cut shorts." At that, there was a lot of digital groaning and embarrassed laughter.
