"Hmm. Grandma chooses both." Tress smiled at Sylvia.
"I wish the curse we had didn't make us younger when we fight, had arguments or expressed our anger. I want it to make us older instead." Sylvia gasped and gave a big hug to grandma Tress. "And for the dare I wish you made my mom act more mature when she grows up."
Tress had no idea what Sylvia was talking about as the curse had now jumped on to her shoulders. Feeling a little chilly she waved at Mary that the time was up. Mary instead was ready for her fool-proof method of extending play time and threw a temper tantrum. Sylvia' heartrate jumped to the roof as she thought about getting younger, but.
Nothing happened.
Sylvia let a sight of relief. Tress in other hand felt an urge to educate the young lady and lifted the ill-behaving child with her to the car with Sylvia in other hand. Putting them both on the backseat and giving an earful to Mary as she closed the car doors. Tress's attitude had changed to more stern and she made sure that Mary understood what she did wrong. Sylvia still inspecting her own body came into conclusion that nothing's happening which a victory in her books. The crisis had been averted. Mary was pouting the whole time as she got more quiet than moment ago. Sylvia could tell that Mary was seething in anger and wasn't taking her mother's scolding that well.
After a short car ride the whole gang arrived at a dinky and very not-home-like looking apartment complex near the commercial area. The building had at least six or seven floors full of small apartments. Tress was struggling a little bit with her keys as they went inside a very small looking room that had two bedroom, a bathroom and which had the living room space and kitchen combined to one area. Sylvia seemed to share a clean looking room with Mary as Mary was already running to the room and closing door by slamming it loudly. Sylvia could clearly hear behind the paper thin wall that Mary was expressing her frustration on the pillow.
Tress yelled and banged the door telling Mary to shut up and shook her head after the audible anger stopped.
Sylvia felt hopeful. Maybe tomorrow she would see what was going to happen to them. Hoping that at some point she could be at her normal age and continue living normally.
