Jenny sat back down on his bed, while Jeff sat back at his computer. This machine could do anything he wanted, and Jenny gave him the blank cheque he needed to go completely wild. Jeff had to carefully consider what to do next. He scrolled through the options on the MENTAL CHANGE package.
The package was more than extensive. It had every form of mental change under the sun, but one thing caught his eye. A little menu sat in the corner labeled EMOTION SWAP. He clicked on it, and a popup appeared.
On the top it had to boxes on the left and right sides labeled SUBJECT in each, clearly that was where he was supposed to enter whose emotions to swap. Below the subjects were larger boxes, each with faded text that read:
Insert emotion or opinion here
Between the two sides was a button with a ↔ inside, clearly indicating that it was the swap button. Jeff nodded to himself, admiring how intuitive the interface was.
He typed Jenny’s name into the left box, then considered what he wanted to change. She could have any emotion or opinion he wanted. Jeff had a devious idea. He began filling in the boxes as a devious smile spread across his lips.
