It's Rudy's last work day in this delivery large warehouse. He's been going at a hellish pace for 6 months now and he's glad it's finally over. Shortly before the end of the day, he notices a package sent by the CYOC laboratory. Rudy has read many TF fictions, so he immediately recognizes the name. He takes the package without hesitation and goes to hide it in his locker. When the time comes, he returns his equipment to his boss and leaves the warehouse, the CYOC laboratory's package in his bag.
Rudy is happy to find the bus stop's shade. This is mid-summer and the sun is beating down. Rudy is a 19 year old young white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall. He has a sporty appearance but he hasn't had time to practice in recent months. He is wearing beige shorts, a blue and white striped T-shirt, sandals and Ray-Ban glasses for distance vision. The bus is arriving.
When he returns to his family home, he finds his younger brother Ben slumped on the couch playing Xbox. Ben is one year younger than his older brother. This short age difference made them very close. Ben is shorter, 5 feet 9 inches. He is not athletic and has the same straight brown hair as his brother. Not liking the air conditioning, Ben has made himself comfortable by wearing a pair of old grey boxer shorts only. Their parents went away for an extended weekend. Their sister is at her boyfriend's house. The brothers therefore have the house to themselves.
hurriedly tears the box on the kitchen counter. Unfortunately, there was no Chronivac in this package, but rather a kind of small gun looking like a toy. Rudy is very disappointed but still wonders what it is. It says "swap gun" on the item's side. Measuring 4 inches, the gun has a trigger and a small LCD screen. Rudy quickly reads the instructions found in the box and can't believe what he's reading. A gun to swap body parts?
Rudy turns on the device, the screen lights up and a menu appears. On the side, a wheel allows you to navigate through the options. He reads on the screen "Select the part to swap". He rolls the wheel and sees scrolling: "Feet, legs, genitals, buttocks, stomach, bust, arms, hands, head, full body, custom." It's awesome, if it's real.
He has to test it right now. And his brother is right there...
"Ben! Can you take a break from your game and come here?" Rudy shouts across the living room.
The screen show the "Target 1" selection. "User" is the default selection. Rudy validates.
"What's the matter?" Ben asks as he comes.
The screen now reads "Shoot target 2". Rudy aims at his brother.
