Tim was left alone in his room. He sat up on the bed, and he thought about what he overheard earlier.
"The next phase...What does that mean?" He muttered to himself.
He got off the bed, and he walked over to the window. He looked outside, seeing that it was still raining. Tim felt frustrated, wanting to see more than his room. He decided that whatever they were up to, there's a good chance it would be bad for him. He knew that he had to escape.
With this in mind, Tim got dressed in his ill fitting clothes supplied to him, and he left his room. He quietly walked along the surprisingly industrial corridor, looking for a elevator or stairs stairs leading to a exit.
After roughly half an hour of sneaking around the labyrinthine corridors, he came what looked like a foyer with a sign reading "SubLevel 5". He saw a elevator, stairwell and some locked doors, including a locked one reading "Dr Kerry's Office RESTRICTED ACCESS".
He moved towards the elevator, when he heard a voice call out. "Hello? Who's there?" It was a feminine voice, which sounded like it belonged to a young woman. Tim scrambled to find a place to hide, eventually deciding to hide behind a large divider. He heard footsteps approaching, and he peeked through a gap in the divider to see who was coming.
He saw a young woman, who looked like she was in her late twenties. She had shoulder length brown hair, and hazel eyes. She was wearing a cyan blouse, and black jeans. She was holding a clipboard, and she looked around the room. "Is anyone there?" She called out again. "I heard someone here."
Tim held his breath, hoping that she wouldn't find him. The woman shook her head, muttering under her breath as she left. "It must've been the AC again."
After a few minutes Tim let out a sigh of relief, and he crept towards.
