It wasn't long before Thanksgiving week had finally arrived. Most businesses, schools, and other things stayed open until Tuesday so people could spend Wednesday and some of Thursday preparing the food, especially the food that the hunters were bringing in, though not all of them were bringing in turkey.

Of course, there were those who wanted to do a few "cooking show"-style videos while preparing the food, and it was allowed on the condition that everything was covered up properly, both for food hygiene levels and for keeping it as family-friendly as possible. Of course, that didn't mean that there were a few shenanigans going on here and there.

Another thing that was going on was Thanksgiving Dinner Delivery, which started during the pandemic and continued on because there are still those who can't go to the Great Hall for the community dinner. Of course, this wasn't always due to physical ailments or otherwise. Some people, especially new couples, just want to have a private dinner for various reasons.

Of course, the community dinner was also a time for some rather unusual scenes, some more predictable/understandable than others. One that was kind of like an "annual ritual" was seeing deep-sea fish Animalians losing control of their instincts and gorging themselves silly, leaving them hilariously bloated. While the usual "victims", including Beacon and Allura (and their spawnlings) were more on guard this time (and thus weren't as swollen as the last few times), there was still those who were completely caught off-guard, much to the amusement of everyone.
Case in point, a group of goths (both male and female), in a fit of "anti-government rebellion" (for lack of a better term) had all gotten either herm anglerfish or deep-sea Lizardfish conversions. While they did provide a bit of information on male-to-herm conversions for Horizon, their expandable stomachs and "deep-sea appetites" caught them completely off guard, and by the time they regained control of themselves, they had all ended up completely bloated, much to their mortification. Fortunately, Claw Coliseum had their Turkey Trot and Gobble Wobble weight loss classes to prevent the loss of all their dignity.

Another unusual scene was the group of, rather unusual-looking, sheep Animalians. Fortunately, there were some Horizon agents to help explain the idea behind these 'hybrid sheep'. However, there have been cases of hybrid animals causing more harm than good to the environment (such as the case with the "sparred owls"), so there were several different wildlife authorities keeping an eye on the hybrid sheep thing.

Of course, with the following week being the start of December, there were those who were leaping at the chance to get a head-start on Christmas shopping, much to the annoyance/confusion of some people.
