Ken coughed a little and said "Remember that hooded guy we drank with?"
Kate clutching her sheets over her chest asked "what do you mean? We drank with a nice lady."
"No No No" Gerome said "It was some dude with a sports Jersey!"
"Go back to sleep your still drunk drunk." Kate said
Ken was confused for a second... just a second before he imagined that if some hooded figure would easily part with a remote with this much power... Perhaps a somewhat complicated illusion wasn't too unbelievable. "Well he gave me a... thing that let me... umm... change you into a girl Gerome and..."
"Inflate my boobs?" Kate asked. Ken blushed a bit and Kate said flatly "Come here." Ken then walked and then knelt a bit before Kate gave him a nice slap. The sound was crisp and the sting was lasting for a bit. Ken winced accepting the punishment. "Don't change me without my permission again." she said voice only slightly raised. "...I can forgive you a bit. we're all still at least a little tipsy... and you ARE a guy I guess..." Ken was really not in the right frame of mind to pick up on little subtle bits of information as they all were still kinda drunk.
Ken took out the note and shared it and Gerome asked "So... can I see the remote?" he stretched his arm out and Ken trusted him enough to hand him the remote. "The heck? Why'd you just hand me nothing?"
"I handed you the remote." Ken said seeing the remote currently in Gerome's hand
Kate was reading the note over again and said "I think it's that cloaking thing... But if it's in your hand and you don't notice it... that's... some cloaking..."
"So if it's in my hand and I press my thumb down... perhaps..." Gerome wondered as his thumb crushed a few buttons. The remote fell as the best buddy had turned into some sorta super advanced looking smartphone.
Ken picked up the smartphone and said "I'm guessing... he pressed Inanimate and... some sorta progression button without a particular thought." Ken then put down the smartphone on the counter as an actual bed had opened up. "How about we sleep, sober up, and then deal with this whole remote thing in the morning?" Ken had suggested as he was happy that Gerome's pajamas had turned into a smartphone case and he didn't have to push his clothes to the side as he prepared to crash...
