Abigail decides to use the program to cause Arthur to find Jeff annoying, a grin appears on her face as she opens Arthur’s file, “let’s see what will happen,” she says. The ten-year-old then adds the sentence, “Arthur thinks Jeff is an annoying six-year-old”, then she confirms the change.
The ten-year-old sneaks out of Jeff’s room after confirming the change and heads downstairs, hiding behind a corner as not to be noticed by either Jeff or Arthur. Abigail peeks around the corner and grins when she notices the annoyed and frustrated look in Arthur’s eyes, Arthur is smiling and nodding to whatever Jeff is currently saying, but Abigail can tell that Arthur would rather just get up and leave.
‘It worked, it really worked! Arthur finds Jeff annoying,’ Abigail thinks to herself.
After a while, Arthur’s phone pings, the teen looks at it and Abigail notices the look of relief on Arthur’s face, “hey, Jeff,” Arthur says, “sorry, but I have to go, my mum needs my help in the yard”.
Jeff tilts his head, seeming surprised, “that is so not like you, bro,” he says, “you hate yard work!”
Abigail watches as Arthur seems to look a little nervous, “well… yeah, but my mother insisted I need to help,” he says, “she… she threatened me with taking away my laptop for a month! You know I can’t go without my video games!”
Jeff lets out a sigh, “mothers can be bitches,” he grumbles, but then he smiles, “okay, Arthur. It’s been nice seeing you again. How about we meet on the weekend, maybe go on a hunting trip?”
Arthur, already on his feet looks at Jeff, “I… I’ll think about it,” he says, “sorry… I really have to go!”
Abigail quickly hurries upstairs to avoid being seen, the girl has a huge smile on her face, when she reaches the top of the stairs, Abigail decides to copy the program onto her phone, and then delete her file and Arthur’s from Jeff’s Chronivac, soon Abigail has her own independent App-version of the program and is sitting in her room.
A few minutes later she hears Jeff walking up the stairs and hears his door close, Abigail walks to her window and watches Arthur walking down the street. The girl quickly puts on some sneakers and heads to Jeff’s room, knocking on the door, “Jeff? I just wanted to say that I am heading out to a friend’s house,” she says, “tell mom I’ll be back before diner”.
“Alright, be careful,” she hears Jeff call back.
Abigail grins wide, “of course! I’m a big girl! I can take care of myself,” she says, hurrying down the stairs and out the front door, then hurries down the street in the direction she saw Arthur head. The girl soon catches up to Arthur.
When Abigail is a few feet away she hears Arthur mumble to himself, “Jeff is such a good kid,” the teen says, “but I just hate watching over annoying little kids. Good thing he is so dumb and believed the lie I told him, he has no idea that it was just some junk email I have received, I just had to get out of there! I’d prefer spending time with his big sister Abigail, she’s more fun than that brat! I don’t know why I even agreed to babysit him!”
Abigail, hearing this, grins, and when she is close enough, the ten-year-old calls out, “hey Arthur! Wait up!”
Arthur turns around a huge smile on his face when he sees Abigail hurry towards him, “hey Aby,” he says joyfully, “what a surprise!”
Abigail stops a foot away from Arthur and grins up at the boy, “I heard you talking with Jeff,” she says, “but before I was able to greet you, you left, so I decided to just follow you!”
Arthur sighs, “sorry, Aby… I… I should have come and say “hi”, but… I guess I just wanted to get away from that brat of a brother you have!”
Abigail smirks when she hears Jeff’s best friend call Jeff a ”brat”, “yeah, he is pretty annoying,” she says, “I don’t get it why you agree to babysit him,” she then grins, “is it because it’s the only way for you to see me?”
Arthur hesitates, looking kind of nervous, “um… why… why do you think… that,” he asks.
Abigail grins, “because I noticed the way you look at me every time you are at my house,” she says, “you give me the look my dad gives my mom,” this is a lie, but Abigail is following a sick plan, thanks to her tweaking and making Arthur find Jeff annoying, she is using this to plant a seed in the teen’s mind: the seed that would blossom into Arthur falling in love with the ten-year-old, Abigail giving Arthur a “reason” to continue to babysit Jeff, just to be close to his “crush” which is Abigail.
Arthur blushes hard, the boy then rubs the back of his head and grins sheepishly, “he… I… I guess you caught me,” he says, “y-yeah… that… that is the reason why I continue to come over”.
Abigail steps a little closer, a smirk on her face, “oh? Is the big 15-year-old attracted to a helpless little 10-year-old girl,” she asks.
Arthur’s face turns into a look of horror, “pl-please… not so loud,” he says, looking around frantically.
Abigail grins, “would you do anything I say in order to keep me quiet?”
“Yes! Anything!”
Abigail’s grin widens, “then I want US to be a couple,” she says, “from now on, you are my boyfriend, and as long as you do as I say, you will have nothing to fear!”
Arthur hesitates, conflicted and unsure what to do, after a while he sighs, “okay, you win,” he says, “you know… actually… I find it rather exciting to have a relationship with a ten-year-old,” he then says.
Abigail smiles wide, “I promise to be the best girlfriend you ever had,” she says.
“Um… I… I never had a girlfriend,” Arthur mumbles.
“Really? Such a handsome boy like you,” Abigail asks, surprised.
Arthur nods, “I know… it’s weird, I guess… I guess the right girl never came,” he says, “until… I met you!”
“And you felt I am the right girl for you?”
Arthur nods, “yeah, not only the right girl, but the girl who… who I’d like to… to marry and create a family together!”
“Really,” Abigail asks, her eyes wide in surprise, ‘is this due to my mental tweaking or are these his true feelings,’ she then asks herself, but then mentally shrugs, ‘who cares! Finally I have MY Arthur and no one will ever take him away!’
“Yeah,” Arthur says.
Abigail smiles, she then giggles, “let’s start small and not rush anything,” she says.
Arthur nods, smiling back, “so… um… would… would you like to… um… go out with me?”
Abigail smiles wide, “when and what do you have in mind?”
“This weekend, we’ll meet at my place,” Arthur says, “and I’d like to surprise you, I have something fun in mind”.
“Well… I can’t wait to see what you have planned,” Abigail says, she then turns and starts walking away, “see you on Friday, boyfriend,” she says, grinning over her shoulder, waving.
“Y-yeah… see you then,” Arthur says, smiling and waving back, the second Abigail turns the corner and is out of sight, Arthur’s smile fades and his expression takes on a worried look, ‘fuck… what have I gotten myself into,’ he asks himself.
