Looking at the map she held back a squeal of joy. On the second floor was a mythological section. Tammy had always been a fan of mythical creatures. She would get merchandise whenever she could. It was sad that not many guys were into a girl like her but she had shrugged it off. Tammy tried her best to remain calm as she walked up the stairs. This was too good an opportunity to pass up though. The local cosplay convention was going to be here next week. She grabbed a bag from the front and ran up the stairs.
Once she got up to the second floor she saw that the myth section was massive. Each myth was separated by country of origin. As she walked she noticed some highlights. A griffin costume with the most realistic feathers she has ever seen. a dragon-themed spandex and a mask. Several other dragon-themed merchandise also struck her interest. A werewolf coat, Tammy saw several other were-animal items in the aisle. A fake head attached to a flame mask called a 'dullahan' getup. She also saw an eastern dragon getup. she saw several centaur costumes. Some were the traditional horses others went to any animal or myth you could think of. Heck, there was even a human-tuar. A Pegasus bikini nearly had Tammy laughing. She also saw cheap Minotaur headbands. There were even some based on video game myths.
After browsing for a while, Tammy checked her finances. Sadly, with what she budgeted, she may be able to get only two outfits from the store today. Looking up, she suddenly saw a bargain bin called 'Chimera Creations'. Knowing that chimeras were multiple creatures in one, it made perfect sense. With how cheap they were, Tammy could get two fully expensive costumes or several cheaper parts for about the same price. With a decision, Tammy got what she wanted and put them in her bag.
After walking back down the stairs she headed for checkout. As she waited in line she couldn't help but notice how some people in front of her looked. There was a woman who had a pear-shaped body. It looked like she was wearing the jeans she wanted to purchase as Tammy could see the tag sticking out on her rear. In front of the woman was a man in biker gear. His entire outfit looked like it was from the 1950's. Next was a woman with a massive chest. The back of her shirt said it was an expand-o product. Finally was the teen at the front. He was getting a pair of fox ears and a tail. Once he purchased it he took off the tags and put both on. Tammy saw the vixen anthro hug herself with glee as she left the store.
Eventually, the line had passed and it was Tammy's turn. The man behind the counter took out the items and began scanning them. "good choices miss. As a policy, I must tell you that you can return any of these items within a month. Afterward, we can't take them back" the man said. Tammy then handed him her credit card. Once the purchase was made Tammy grabbed the bag and left the store. The cashier sighed as she went. He always loved seeing them in the store's clothing before they left. However, he knew the clothes she picked were perfect for her. Even though he had said people had a month to return the items he knew they never did. He then looked at the man in a doctor's uniform. Smiling the man checked him out.

It had been a week since Tammy had gone to the store. Checking the bag she had gotten, she was ecstatic that her new costume was still there. She had to force herself to wait until she was at the convention before she would put it on. She wanted the first time wearing the thing to be as memorable as possible. Arriving at the convention she was happy to find a parking spot not long after arriving. Sure it was a ways away from the con but she didn't mind. As she walked she couldn't help but see how good some of the people's costumes were as she approached. Heck, there were even some actual myths as she got closer. To her left she saw an Egyptian sphinx and a female one from Greece. To her right was a griffin man and Minotaur lady.
After passing through security Tammy was astounded by how big the Fantasy convention or Fan-con was. It had several booths devoted to mythological creatures. Both board and video games were being played all over the place. Large banners told what each area was. There was even a food court at the center of the convention with myth-themed foods and drinks. However, what blew Tammy away was that almost half of the convention goers were myths. Dragons flew over her head, both anthro and feral. Several were-creatures were talking with each other. A rock carved to look like a full moon hung from their necks and glowed. On the map, there was a Cupid's adults-only area.
However, Tammy couldn't see it from the entrance. What she could see however was the changing booths. She walked over to it narrowly avoiding hitting a mouse anthro in a gladiator outfit. As she waited she saw many of the people in front of her seemed to have outfits in their hands from the same store where she got hers. A couple went into the stall one after another in front of Tammy. First, a blonde woman went in and out came a grey-furred werewolf man wearing only a pair of ripped shorts. The werewolf waited for the man to enter. The woman that came out was a unicorn anthro. The werewolf immediately touched her and said he claimed her. The unicorn giggled as the two left. Shrugging this off Tammy went inside the changing booth. She found it odd that it looked so clean on the inside. Not a normal sort of clean but it smelt like the place had been sterilized. Tammy decided to ignore this and pulled out her outfit. On the outside of the door, it revealed the stalls were donated by the clothing shop.
