Mary couldn’t believe the sight of Gavin’s next friend as he arrived at the front door. Right in front of her stood an anthropomorphic zebra holding a schoolbag.
The boy had a zebra’s head, though the top of his mane was stylized and swished to one side, almost as if he tried to express some of his now missing humanity into his hairstyle. Looking lower, his body was much more human, though he still had a strong muscular physique. Thick, wide pecs, and defined shoulders and biceps, strong quads and tight round buttocks. No visible abs however. His entire body was covered in short white and black fur exactly as you would expect a zebra to have. Behind him, just above his toned buttocks swished a long zebra tail.
While his hands seemed mostly human, his legs ended in black hooves. Mary was impressed with how balanced he seemed to be. What drew Mary’s attention the most however was the two large black equine balls tightly hanging below an intrusive sheath right below his abdomen, that no doubt housed a very large but currently hidden flaccid zebra cock.
"Oh my! I'm sorry, I don't recognize which one of Gavin’s friends you are…"

"Randall?! My, yes of course."
"It’s ok Mrs Danaher, I know I look like a freak now. The school wanted to teach us different ways animals use camouflage and had three of us pick different animals to demonstrate. They had zebra DNA fused with mine and made me into this mess, did the same to the other two with their animals. A snow leopard and a chameleon" Randall snorted in annoyance, and his tail swished back and forth sharply. "The teacher claimed a visual presentation would be the best learning experience, but obviously Genodyne just wanted to try another experiment on us."
"Oh dear," Mary replied, completely out of her depth with how to console the animal-boy hybrid. "I'm sure they'll get you back to normal on Monday."
Randall snorted again in disbelief from her naivety on this whole situation. "Ha, no I've been like this for two weeks now, this is permanent, the teacher confirmed as much. Maybe if it's useful for them to try to make me human again they might try something, but until then this is it. Stripped Horse boy!"
Mary nodded in saddened agreement and directed him to the basement where they could hear the others playing video games.
