After a moment, Leah found herself hesitating. Now that she had a moment to really think, she suddenly felt unsure of her plan; not just in the sense of Tina being unpredictable, but also in...reevaluating her circumstances? First things first, she needed Tina out and her diaper changed. With her pacifier out, she did what felt natural and stuck her thumb in her mouth, looking up at Tina pitifully.
"I'm sowwy Tina." She lisped around her thumb. She could practically see Tina's heart instantly melt as the woman went from annoyed to awwing.
"Oh Leah, it's fine! I'm just glad you're safe is all."
"Can I get some pwivacy to change now?"
"Of course."
And just like that, Tina closed the door and was gone. Leah let out a sigh of relief at not having to deal with further changes in her reality. She didn't want to remove her thumb, however. Looking around, she quickly found her pacifier and replaced it, feeling instant relief as she did. She knew this was because of the warps, and that she didn't need a binky before; however, ever since she woke up, she's truly felt entirely adjusted to her new reality. In fact, outside of knowing she didn't need them before, she really wasn't bothered by needing diapers at all.
She sat on her changing table (and yes, it was very much *her* changing table) to begin giving herself a change. She gagged as she opened her diaper, feeling a weird sense of pride at making such a mess (she almost wishes Tina would change her if for no other reason than to see the woman's face). As she started to wipe, she allowed herself to think about her situation properly for the first time. Currently, she's in a reality where she (and everyone else her size) has numerous infantile traits. At the moment, Leah felt relatively neutral given how her brain has adjusted to the new reality. However, that didn't explain why she was so hesitant on undoing it; it's not like she sense of self was altered, she was still the same Leah---being used to a reality did not make it enjoyable. Which is where Leah was stumped: she was enjoying herself. She couldn't even blame the reality bending as she realized it's always been there in the back of her head.
She vaguely recalls a conversation that she thought was a dream---and is slowly realizing wasn't---regarding a long aisle filled with TV's. When asked what she wanted, Leah came to the conclusion that she wanted to stop fighting, and become the baby the world saw her as. She put that moment as a weird fever dream from earlier in the day, but was almost certain that moment must be the cause of these warps. Though she remembered being told that they could "only change her and not the world", it's clear that she's still the epicenter of these changes. She is quite literally being changed by everyone else's perception into a baby, and she realizes she doesn't hate it. She finishes taping her new diaper on, immediately grabbing her stuffed rabbit the moment her hands were free. She sat there with her soft padding for a moment, cuddling Mrs. Hops while sucking her pacifier; it was, strangely enough, one of the greatest feelings she's ever had. She's never felt so safe, and small, and comfy.
Before, she hated how other's would see her and think she's a baby with mocks and jeers. Now, that wasn't a problem, because she WAS a baby. Once those mocks and jeers turned into cooing and affection, she realized how little she actually cared for her adult hood and how ready she was to toss it aside. Leah would never actual start using diapers or suck her thumb, but now that she's in a reality where she's not only used to it but expected to do it? She absolutely loved it and didn't want to give it up, even if it was a little humiliating.
Leah felt a sudden burst of excitement, now almost wanting to go to school to see how it's changed (and most importantly, how it'll change her). It was immediately followed by a yawn and sense of drowsiness. Leah was confused for a second before realizing her nap earlier was technically interrupted by her going poopy; she's starting to suspect the warp did make her need naps throughout the day. She put on some proper pajamas, not even minding that it was a bright pink onesie (mostly since it was 1. comfy 2. kind of cute and 3, apparently the only thing allowed to cover her diaper). Turning off the lights, grabbing her stuffie, and jumping into her crib, Leah closed the bars with a click. Getting tucked in, she mentally noted that anyone who walked in would think she was indistinguishable from a baby. They would be right. Leah had no idea what else would change, and was still scared at the unpredictability. Now, however, she had something to appreciate and possibly look forward to. With a few sucks of her paci, Leah was fast asleep.
The next morning:
