Other than local traffic, it's no different from normal. You don’t sense anything or anyone, which is going to make this operation easier. During these two weeks you’ve given the job you have to do a bit of a think. You don’t want to drag humans away from lives they’ll miss and more critically, where they will be missed. There's not only the moral aspect but you don’t want the attention.
Another thing to think through was willingness. You were lured and so on by Lisa, but despite that, you’ve been pretty chill with the whole situation. You will fully admit that this life is better than the one you had and being a super awesome robot girl is pretty much a total upgrade over your old male human one. From what you've read and experienced, the more willing someone is to this change and the less they fight, the easier it goes. You’re still you, mostly and you know Mistress chose you because your psych profiles indicated that you’d be easy to convert (you have access to the Bravescale’s logs and thus, Mistress’s notes on finding and making you, heeee~). So, you also need to find people who want to be robots and don’t necessarily care about that whole ‘free will’ thing. Really, at this point, the idea of wiping some human seems much much much worse than turning them into a robot slave, something you know is necessary if there’s too much resistance.
The internet, magical thing that it is, has the solution. You’re easily able to access Earth’s comm networks once you're happily parked in orbit and pull in masses of data. Isolating that much information when you can handle hyperspace is a cinch, at least with properly installed drivers. Within ten minutes of pulling up to low Earth orbit, hidden from sight and sensor, you’ve already got more than a hundred viable candidates, a data-slate list held in your robody rather than on a computer on the ship. You want to present it to Mistress like you’re back at your old job because it amuses you.
She sounds surprised and impressed, your circuits humming with joy at that. “Wow! That’s amazing Mari! And you say that they all *want* to be robots?”
“Mmmhmmm. Not just said it online but actively seem to want it. They also have psych profiles that indicate that they're generally weak willed. They also won't be missed if they disappear’ due to alienation and they universally have low prospects. That makes the change even more appealing.” Reviewing it like this, you’re doing these people a favor by giving them this new existence. What’s to lose in humanity other than something you never really used that much anyway.
Your Mistress thinks a little then nods. “Right! So, I think I know what I want you to do. Find me…mmm, any one of that list. Doesn’t have to have ‘low prospects’ or ‘not be missed’ though, so maybe spread it out a bit. Pick someone at random-ish and teleport them here.” You’re going to put parameters; lives alone; no one with kids or significant others; no one with pets; over 18, but otherwise, you go wild with an expanded list of 817 potential targets. “We’ll let them pick which one of the eight and go from there.” Well, that’s a lot of latitude! Should be fun! From what you can see there’s definitely people on the list who’ll go for certain things and others who you have no idea. You’re honestly pretty excited about this.
